let me expalin it… I’m reminiscing about my ex gf since I saw her last weekend after a year of NC (I made a thread about it).

We were on a nice dinner in some restaurant/hotel (owned by my ex gf’s best friend’s parents). So me and my ex were invited just like other 5 young couples. We were sitting at a dinner table and waiting for the next course when she asked me loud and clear in front of others:

‘Would you steal that teddy bear thats on the bar for me if i wanted to?’

I got a feeling everyone was listening what I’m about to say… luckily the relationship was going downhill for quiet some time back then and I was pretty angry/resentful towards her anyway so I replied loud and clear:

‘A woman I would steal for does not exist’

Everyone was quite, nobody made a comment. Even though I was blue as a smurf i handled it pretty OK I guess – because couple of months back when we were still in honeymoon phase I d reply with something: ‘I d steal anything for you’…

Its just a stupid spot that a woman create for you – to ask her bf in front of others something like that. Either you are a mangina and she shows to everyone how she owns you, or you are a jerk. thats how i see it.

To end a night even bigger jerk I repay her back soon enough after few minutes. The waiter was pouring wine to anyone who had empty glass and I said: ‘Not for me, I wont have it anymore since I’m driving… (pause)… princesses….(pause)… and [insert ex gf name].
Everyone at the table was like ‘WOOOOOW’ guys just lost it and laugh, and women were shocked. My ex said: ‘We are together for more than a year now and I still havent teach him to behave around other people’. Funny, what about her question before? Needles to say we end it few moths after.

just a thought I had and wanted to share. Hope to hear something similar from one of you guys…

Even though it sounds like you would do anything (including something wrong) for the right woman, it lowers her value nicely. Getting you to do anything for her is her screwed-up way of trying to heighten her perceived value… while lowering yours in the process.

My stock response for being put on the spot is:

• “That’s interesting. Why would you ask that?”
OR “That’s interesting. Why would you say that?”

It buys you time for a better response, but it’s amazing what gets reflected back to you at that moment. Before you answer, it forces them to explain why they are asking/saying in the first place.

Pay close attention to how often women use the word “IF”. They constantly imagine hypothetical and unrealistic scenarios and test your reaction to them. But the word “if” is nowhere based in reality. Point that out to her and stop them every time. Make them think about it.

Social manipulation is a woman’s game. You use the same weapon to WIN. If she shoots you down, shoot her own in front of everyone and lower her value. Social ostracizing from a group, manipulation, back-stabbing etc. are female weapons of choice. Use them to your advantage.
