When she can’t trade access to her smellier regions for your stuff, she knows it’s over and will move on.

You guys have repeated some version of this for years, but it just clicked when I was reading a woman’s post in a survivalist forum. She boasted about what a hunter her husband is and thanked God for giving her a man who brings home the game, ending by exhorting the general public to train their “youngins” to “go out and provide.”

My first thought once I got past her redneck language was, well apparently her old as$ needs training on how to “go out and provide.” After all, that’s what survivalism is about, and it’s ironic this post appeared on a survivalist forum. The options are do it yourself, or leech off of a man that does it for you. And for what? Access to ass.

Ass doesn’t lure me anymore. No deal. Flashback to variations on this theme where my ex-wife tried to get my attention but failed because she lacked common decency. The theory is that the leeches will move on to the guy that takes the bait––they really define that as love––and consider this “survival technique.” If you reject her offering it signals to her that you’re no longer in love, and will move on.
