And so did STD’s. In other words, having sex with prostitutes both decreased the false rape accusations by a third and STD’s by 40% just as we’ve always said on this blog.

Long story short, Rhode Island accidentally made prostitution legal due to a language error in the way a law was written making prostitution legal and giving us the opportunity to accurately study the affects of legalizing prostitution in the US. This kind of study can only be done by accident in the US and it has happened.

This validates Amnesty International’s position that prostitution should be legalized.

When Rhode Island accidentally legalized prostitution, rape decreased sharply

For decades, few people noticed that legislators in Providence had deleted crucial language from Rhode Island state law in 1980. It wasn’t until a 2003 court case that police, to their chagrin, discovered they couldn’t prevent prostitutes and their customers from engaging in commercial exchange.
For the next six years until legislators corrected their error, the oldest profession was not a crime in Rhode Island — and public health and public safety substantially improved as a result, according to a new working paper from the National Bureau of Economic Research. The statewide incidence of gonorrhea among women declined by 39 percent, and the number of rapes reported to police in the state declined by 31 percent, according to the paper.

Seems like this debunks the whole ban sexbots line of thought.

Ha! I should have known! It makes sense, after thinking it over: Give the perps a legal way out, and they’ll take it. Obstruct their natural urges, and they will go off the rails.

I’m guessing we will see the same sort of trends in crimes against women in areas where women are allowed to carry firearms, like Texas and Florida. My personal experience is that bullies always go for soft targets and avoid those who can fight back.

Hughes, like Farley and Berg, views prostitutes as victims, not as criminals, but she was forced to make a difficult decision when Rhode Island began to debate amending the law.”

This is an interesting observation that prostitutes are victims. Men are the perpetrators when purchasing something from women.

Conversely, women blame men for the women’s fashion industry. Calvin Klein, Pierre Luberton, Georgio Armani, Vidal Sasoon, Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Cardin, Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren, Donatella Versace.

It seems that if a woman has something to sell to men, it’s because of the patriarchy. It also seems that if men have something to sell to women, it’s because of the patriarchy.

    These poor girls. jeesh.

Personally I view marriage as a form of prostitution. The hottest women nearly always go to men with money, much like hookers. Prostitution is kept illegal for economic reasons. It forces men to compete on a much more sinister level. Keeping prostitution illegal gives women more power. At the very least prostitutes are honest about what is going down, where as gold diggers are the most wretched things on earth.

    Again I agree with Joe.

Women are looking for access to resources. They are looking for the stability and protection money brings. That makes them all whores. That is why hypergamy rules.

But at least the working girls are honest about it.

I disagree with the following. “Good” women have their white knights keep prostitution illegal. If prostitution were legal men wouldn’t need the “Good” women as much. Women are against the prostitutes.
