Curious what you health nuts on here eat. I’ve always loved me some food and find the low-carb way of life is the only life for me. Atkins says “It’s not a diet, it’s a way of life.” and he was f~~~ing right about that.
Buff Dudes did a video on my favorite except they use skinless, F~~~ THAT! I always use bone-in w/ the skin and I’ll add a packet of fajita mix and/or beer can chicken rub to the crockpot. I got tons of crockpot recipes I use cause in my military days I was always busy, no time to slave over a stove and never blew my money going out to eat w/ buddies. It’s amazing what the crockpot will do with a chunk of meat, some roots and a few seasonings(maybe a beer lol).

Microwaved baked potato with chili beans, sour cream, lightly steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, and bacon bits in it.

Potatoes and Broccoli are two of the more complete foods out there. Not a bad meal really health wise.

I haven’t gotten into crock pot cooking, but I should. The only thing I have used a crock pot for is making my special Mary Jane butter for cookies and whatnot.

Pot roast, few to no potatoes, lots of meat.
Vegetable soup.. in crock pot, couple bags of veg-all, a jug of v8 and a few chunks of beef.
Here’s a weird one… quiche…6 eggs, 1lb maple sausage, 2 cups shredded cheese, 1 cup milk, 1 small bag broccoli florets.

That’s the only way I’ve gotten Cannabudder to come out right. And the one time I did it I spilled half of it all over me while going up the stairs lol. It soaked into my skin and was tripping b~~~~ for a solid 5 hours. Quite the experience.

Ha, funny s~~~! Yea, the key is to melt the butter FIRST in the pot, cut up all the weed into tiny pieces with scissors or use a grinder and throw it in with water. Low heat all day long, stir often. Use cheesecloth to strain weed chunks smushing all the butter out that you can, let stand in fridge to separate butter from water when done.

Rice and black beans, garlic and onion sauce, spinach, sweet potatoes, yellow pepper, cucumber and sliced tomatoes. All done from scratch. It’s been around 9°F up here all day so you need carbs if you’re outside a lot.

You only do steak on sundays? Bummer. How you do your steak?
I like to get a 2 inch(that’s no typo) thick bone-in prime ribeye, healthy coat of pink salt and fresh ground peppercorn, let sit in fridge for 24hrs, let come to room temp and sear the s~~~ out of it over an open wood flame for 5min each side.

    I just fry it.

My cooking skills are basic. I mostly live off salard, potatoes and chicken.

My easy, not really quick is split pea soup I make in the slow cooker. Split peas, water, season salt, and a little tasso. Set it and go about my day. Have soup for several meals.

Want kick start your metabolism? Iodine. More to the point, sodium iodine. Don’t use sea salt, Himalayan Pink Salt, good old Morton Iodized Salt. Higher metabolism, higher calorie burn. In the army, 10,000 calories a day. Running, repelling, more running and eating. Constantly. Now, I sit on my ass and plug away at a computer. So, I cut the carbs. Nothing white. Eat 3,000 calories a day. Exercise 1 hour in the a.m. and I’ve lost 240 lbs in 6 months. Alright, 220lbs of that was cupcake, but the other 20 I actually lost off my stomach. Iodine kick starts your thyroid. Thyroid controls your metabolism. Higher metabolism, more weight loss. No rice. No white bread. Few potatoes. Peanut butter is ok. Good for the brain.

    COD.

Just put it in the fire, minimum of salt, olive oil, pepper, lemon, when is cooked just add a bit of cheese.

I eat it alone, but a few slices of bread, done.

    10-15 min.

To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.

Doing a grocery run tomorrow guys so I appreciate all your input!

More to the point, sodium iodine. Don’t use sea salt, Himalayan Pink Salt, good old Morton Iodized Salt.

Yuck, after using sea salt and Himalayan salt for so long I’ve lost my taste for the other salts. I do supplement my iodine in other ways though so I’m good on that. I did a 10,000 calorie meal plan at one point in my life as well. Was very rough on the wallet lol.

    Peanut butter is ok.

I do a massive peanut butter and honey sandwich as my post workout snack.

Alright, 220lbs of that was cupcake, but the other 20 I actually lost off my stomach.

Holy Christ, how big were you? Most I ever weighed in my entire life was 232lbs! And that was just because the food in Baghdad sucked ass lol. They f~~~in rationed every little thing. Thought I’d be able to pack muscle mass on while I was deployed but NOPE! I mean I did a little but nowhere near what I would have if I’d’ve been running the kitchen.

That sounds great! Ever done a pizza omelet? I was looking for an excuse to have anchovies in the morning and had the bright idea of making what I call the pizza omelet and it’s basically just that except for the sauce you’re only using tomato paste w/ the pizza sauce seasonings. Talk about an omelet to die for.

Crock Pots are the best. When I was working in the States I would prepare the meal uncooked the night before in the pot and put it in the fridge. The morning before work I put that sucker in it’s cradle and turn it on low. When I got home from work I would have a wonderful meal ready. I’d eat what I wanted, put the rest up for lunch the next day, wash the pot, prepare the next day’s meal, put it in the fridge, and basically rinse and repeat. Here’s a quick recipe I loved.

Layer of Onions, layer of sauerkraut, layer of lean pork chops, layer of sauerkraut, layer of sausages, layer of sauerkraut, sprinkle some dill. Some garlic won’t hurt either.

Here’s the number one rule I always follow. Always layer the bottom of your pot with onions and garlic for meals that call for onions and garlic. Always, on the bottom, layered, best taste, awesomeness in a pot, follow?

Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.

    It used to be pussy.

Then during my blue pill depression and into the hangover it was this

But these days I cook 4-5 meals in a slow cooker (crock pot). It takes a bit of prep, probably 45 mins, but then I’ve got 4-5 meals for the freezer which are defrosted in 20 mins in a sink of hot water, and heated through in 5 mins on the hob. My favourite is lamb balti.

    In this order…

Fry in pan with 2 spoons of oil
    2 onions
    4 garlic cloves, minced

    Then add
    2 red chilli peppers, chopped
1 knob of ginger, finely chopped
2 tablespoons of balti paste (stir in)
    500ml vegetable stock
    1 can chopped tomatoes
    1 kg diced lamb
Sprinkle of sea salt flakes, black pepper

Cook on high for 4-5 hours

    After it’s cooked add
    200-300ml cream
    Chopped fresh corriander

    Serve with microwave rice.
