I saw we have a couple of topics about games, so I decided to create one about music as well.

My favorite music is a mix of rock and metal, ranging from easy-on-the-ears Deep Purple to the anguished and tormented wails of atmospheric black metal.

All-time favorite band is without doubt Iron Maiden, shame their last 3 or 4 albums suck. A couple of other bands I really like are Lantlôs, Iced Earth, Satyricon, Grave Digger, Motley Crüe, Kreator, WASP, Twisted Sister, Nargaroth and Immortal.

In the car i listen to Drum & Bass. I have a whole pile of The Technimatic Shows that will keep me entertained for a long time.

Traditionally, i’ve been into Rock. Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, NIN. Mostly 70’s, 80’s & 90’s Rock. I lost touch with the more modern stuff due to age.

I’m not overly into how they mix music these days, one of the great things i love about the 60’s and 70’s is how well the drums stood out in the mix. Individual instruments seemed to have more space to breath in those days.

Anything that isn’t the modernized bulls~~~ that is mainstream music. My range of interests include funk, disco, jazz, Japanese hip-hop, classic hip-hop, alternative rock, country, some synth pop, electronica, orchestral, drum and bass, and some trance. It ranges from the 1960s to the 2000s, and rarely anything in the 2010s.

I like artists like Nujabes, Gnarls Barkley, The Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, Tokimonsta, Faithless and Rob Dougan. My favorite musician is a man named Brian Transeau. Sadly he is a f~~~ing mangina, but damn he makes good music.

I like a broad range of music for different reasons so this is hard to answer. I like the Beatles because they were masters of pop music, Protest Hero for their epic progressive metal, Bach because he was a genius, I went through a phase where I listened to ambient music like Brian eno’s music for airports album. Sometimes I listen to j-pop or polka because it is a lot of fun. My favorite music is harmonically adventurous, lots of chromaticism. In my opinion, one of the worst things an artist can do is be generic or not break the “rules” of western music.

Alot of different genres. But almost always 20th century music – minus most of the 90’s.

Have a lot of musical tastes from classical, rock, metal, and their million subgenres, as well as all manner of edm and the like and some experimental and retro. Some video game tracks are great stand alone pieces too.
