Long story short it’s a sign of cultural decline by lack of the basic social dynamics that would guarantee that such people would either get psychiatric attention or good old fashioned ridicule.

Which is it? If trans people need psychiatric attention (which they already get) then it’s a mental illness.

You do understand that people have conditions to different degrees of severity right? Not everyone has conditions dialed up to 100. Not every autistic bangs their head against a wall. Not every transgender cuts their dick off.

Topics of transgenders on manosphere forums always turn out to be aggressively reactionary to feminism instead of an objective, normal discussion. The easy redpill response is its all a bunch of leftist degenerate delusional bulls~~~. But just imagine for a second, that no matter how manly or redpill or MGTOW you are, imagine there’s a huge NAG inside your head saying:

What feminism does is latch onto unrelated issues in order to gain legitimacy by association. They’re doing it with the black civil rights movement. Science itself doesn’t know what causes it, but the consensus so far is towards biological causation.

I think I have trouble understanding the difference between homosexuality and transgender. They may sound strange, but I’m not sure I grasp the difference.

Homosexuality is clear. A person who is sexually attracted to the same sex. It also implies that they have a more feminine personality and prefer feminine things. So transgender is a step beyond that…to the fact that you feel like you’re supposed to BE the opposite sex? Or is something different, not really tied to sexual preference at all?

I guess perhaps it’s that I can grasp sexual attraction. I don’t think about right about what gender I am, it is just what I am. I cannot fathom how it is to not be the gender that I am. Perhaps it’s to be think of some sort of hypothetical gender switch, where I was placed in the body of a woman. In that case, I would likely be internally screaming to be in the body of a man. The hormones would drive me nuts. The physical attractions I feel would disgust me mentally. It would be torture. But it seems like it would be that way because I have a history of being a man. If I never was a man, how would I know.

Either way, the bathroom drama seems overrated to me. Go to the one that fits the equipment, the one where you know you’re supposed to go. Don’t leave room in the law for perverts to take advantage.

The only thing that gets me about this topic is the forcing of the issue down peoples throats by MSM, SJW’s, and other social fascists. Who cares what it is or why, it just exists.

Right now the only deal I see with this group is an exploitation of government power over the majority by a minority with victim cards and hurt feelings. Just soft weak idealism further pussifing the West by allowing a very small minority to have power over the majority. The West used to be ruled by the majority of the respective nations that then carried out that will upon the world, now they kowtow to feelings and emotional idealism in a cess pool of blind acceptance. Weak ideas were shunned to make a strong populace and nation. Weak populaces make for weak nations. Blind acceptance is weak idealism not enlightened. Not all are equal and not all are acceptable. Hey brothers, before this thread dies I’d like to add my two cents. Back in February I finally found a new roommate after the last one abandoned ship, and guess what? She’s transgender. And what makes the situation even more interesting is the fact that I’ve known her since she was a boy back in elementary school.

I will agree that gender dysphoria is an unusual condition, mostly because I can’t fathom being anything other than a guy. That being said, the amount of time and money she spends on medications, makeup, and eventually surgery proves to me that she was uncomfortable enough in her own skin to actually go through with this. Make no mistake, committing to this choice takes courage because of the sheer amount of verbal/physical hate and vitriol you’ll receive from family, friends, and even strangers (some of the earlier replies to this topic are evidence of that).

Is this actually some form of mental illness? The jury is still out on that one, and I don’t believe we’ll have clear answers until science (and in particular the study of genetics) progresses. Some believe that there is a “gay” genome that could cause this sexual deviancy, while others think that the fetus may have been overexposed to hormones of the opposite sex in utero.

Regardless of the causes, I think we should cut them some slack. Not all transgenders are liberal socialists (my roommate is an authoritative right-wing fascist, which is pretty much the polar opposite, and yes, she voted for Trump). I agree with Awakened, everyone has hurdles in their lives that they have to overcome (whether real or imaginary) so if something doesn’t affect your person or property why care? It’s a waste of time and energy that could be spent on more productive things.
