What's the benefit??

After some interesting conversations with both men & women, I have started thinking, in depth, about the societal benefit of women. I came up with three things:

1. Bearing children — survival of the human species.

2. Being the source of the overwhelming majority of blues music lyrics [e.g. the nature of woman’s infidelity, dishonesty, etc.]

3. I forgot the third thing.

Are there any I missed??

I would say beauty. No doubt, there are still a lot of women that are pleasant to look at. However, if women were not around, I’m sure we would find beauty elsewhere, so it’s hard to say it’s essential.

I debate on whether or not companionship is a benefit. Not doubt is a double edge sword, but I do enjoy the company of women from time to time over a short period of time. Again, not essential.

Childrearing? I don’t know about that either.

They serve as a source of chaos and drama – a random generator – in otherwise sterile sane and geometrically boring world of men – they add the complexity to the system needed to move it forward
They’re like destructor methods in objective programming
they’re like toxins for tissue renewal and healthy immune system

Yeah. I thought about these, but men do them better. We may not consider it a good use of our time, but we still do them better/cheaper/etc.

Well, from an economic viewpoint, women spend a lot of money, which increases GDP while at the same time impoverishing men.

Women also play a role in healthcare. 2 out of 3 dollars in healthcare are spent on women. Women also raise blood pressure in men as they nag them into oblivion. This helps big pharma turn a profit.

Women also support entire lines of business such as the divorce industry.

Where would we be without all the drama, complaining, cheating etc.?

Child rearing. Yes.

Companionship? Meh, no not really. I know that it’s possible from what I’ve personally seen but it’s rare. Most of the time it’s just empty hate filled relationships legally binded together with a marriage certificate.

Friendship, sure. I have several female friends, they are okay as long as you don’t allow too many discussions about relationships in general to occur. Also don’t put yourself into a situation where you might depend on them, they will often try to manipulate or play games.

Some that chose to go into the sciences have advanced our understandings of the world albeit on a much smaller scale than men.

There is nothing magical about life. We aren’t going to fill some void by volunteering ourselves to a life of servitude in a marriage. Our purpose is to exist and reproduce. Marriage is a man made social construct that was intended to protect assets. The current idea of marriage being about love and whatever other bulls~~~ is a joke. If that is what it is supposed to be then that’s how it would have been from the beginning. It wouldn’t have been a recent phenomena in our history.

It took me a while to get over this grim reality (grim to me and I assume many others) because my previous belief system was based on getting married and creating the traditional nuclear family and being in love and all would be great.
