A week and 1/2 ago Hitman mentioned having grilled chicken, brown rice and broccoli for supper.

This has been on the back of my mind ever since, so tonight’s offering is in honor of Sous Chef Hitman:

Grilled Chicken Breast, olive oil, garlic and Krazy Janes Pepper.

Sautéed broccoli, carrots, zucchini and yellow squash.

Brown rice or carbonara pasta, will have to decide soon.

    Toasted French bread.

She’s mighty good on pork, chicken or beef!

You need to invest in a grill Venom before summer is over.

Nothing like meat or veggies sizzling on the grill, a cool beverage to keep you company, and listening to the sounds around you.

    Yeah man….. good times

For the 4th of July, the local grocery store had a huge sale on baby back ribs. The freezer has about 10 slabs of ribs, chicken thighs and a big box of catfish filets.

Slap some of that meat on the grill dude and save the chicken salad for winter! 😋 Any of that would be yummie-licious off the grill.

Last night I had a barbecue kebob of shrimp marinated in garlic sauce with a small 6oz or so steak marinated the day before Woshishsihisre sauce. Added a small salad with fresh off the vine snap peas and a glass of iced coffee.

Knew it was going to be hot this week and I loathe cooking when it’s hot, so I boned and poached some chicken breasts Sunday night while the ballgame was on the radio.

Tonight I rubbed one with pepper, paprika, and salt before quickly searing it on the trusty hibachi. While that was cooling, I sliced a pear, crumbled some feta, diced a few scallions, and tossed all that together with some spinach and a few dollops of olive oil. The chicken sliced into strips went on top and I squeezed a lime over the whole thing.

A very cold bottle of Leninenkugel’s Original accompanied the meal. Quick, tasty, filled me up, and waiting on the coals took most of my time.

    .
tonight i grilled a skirt steak,
marinated in teryaki with fresh grated ginger and minced garlic..
grilled it and took the marinade,
reduced it over a low heat until it became more of a glaze.
    carmelized onions and..
a nice piece of ciabatta bread toasted on the grill,
    and Steak Sandwich appeared…
    .
    and the Lord looked down,
and “It Was Good ” !!!

    .

now that 15 dollar steak is going to provide 2 more meals ,
so we CAN eat DINE like kings..
even though the initial cost is a lot..
i cut that bad boy against the grain for the sandwich…
    tender and f’n delicious !!!

Anyway communication, real open communication, is not wanted or even required in a relationship. Women cannot handle fully open and honest communication, plus most perceive it as a weakness on the part of a man. All that is required is catering to her whims, and even then nothing is certain. There is no way to be sure of having a successful relationshit with a woman. MGTaoist
