Today is Memorial Day, and I was wondering what everyone is doing to honor the men who served and died for our country and freedom, and to ring in summer?

For me, I slept in, checking out my MGTOW replies, listening to Anime music on iTunes, and in a little while going out for a bike ride since the weather is hard to pass up and watch more fitness videos on YouTube when I get back. And for dinner, I’m having beer and bratwurst (hot and beer flavored) grilled. Now that’s a man’s meal!

Had to do some painting in the kitchen, did laundry, and hit some golf b~~~~ at the range.

Now chilling with a Bell’s Oberon on the couch pondering what to do for dinner.

Happy Memorial Day to my MGTOW brothers.

We had London Broil (reminders of Greg’s recent visit) and mashed potatoes with sweet tea. I may go out for a couple of beers later.

I don’t even know what London Broil is?

If it’s something English, then I would re-name it as London isn’t English anymore.

It’s marinated beef that’s broiled and the cut thin. Definitely a US “thang” Mr Honda! 😜
Glad that you have recovered from jet lag.

Aren’t Brits always referred to as beefeaters, or is that reserved for guys that work at the Tower of London?

Well that sucks! I was just going to go out for a bike ride and my rear tire is flat and all the bike shops are closed. Sucks!

Enjoying Venison steaks, turkey eggs, and a nice pitcher of ice water being shared with my dog.

PistolPete lives 3 miles from a meat whole seller, the advantages of a rural life!

I am satisfied with my burger, tots and beer however.

I had dinner with someone I love. Me.

Ordered in spaghetti and meatb~~~~ with extra garlic bread. Now I’m going to play a video game.

I observed a moment of silence for our fallen men.

I cut the lawn under the blistering Sun.

For dinner, I had the Carnitas Special at a Mexican restaurant. I was enjoying a fine pork dinner until a group with two loud mouth drunken c~~~s was seated next to me.

Their voices sounded like a f~~~ing jackhammer. They ruined the meal.

I put a windshield in an American made GMC 5500 flatbed truck. My roomate helped me. I bought him a beer and made us “shake ‘n’ bake” ham with a caeser salad and mashed potatoes. We had a “couple” (read dozen) of beers and some smokes.

Thanks to all of our American friends that served.

It is a somber day for me. I remember those I knew who sacrificed all in service, and those I did not know. I think of my own sacrifices in my 23 years of service. It is even one of the few times I allow myself to think of my father, who fought in Korea.

I worked out really hard in the morning doing HIIT, then passed out on the sofa and woke up a half hour later groggy and having no idea what time of day it was.
That was very unusual for me to be that exhausted. I think I just tried to get all of my emotions out through the workout. I thought I was going to puke at one point while doing sprints.
After getting sorted out I made some margarita’s (lime) and watched the Band of Brothers marathon on HBO.
What an amazing series that is. I can watch it every year and it still hits me hard every time.

Dinner – made potato salad, and had a boca burger with it. Nothing special… and another margarita.
