I disagree, a decade is a long time, and at the birthrate decline, another decade of a sharp decline, or two could be catastrophic. Think about future taxpayers, no one to fund the lazy politicians, services, etc. Then and only then can true change occur.

The US government will always have immigrants’ votes to continue the expansion of government, even if the birth rates start to decline. It seems to me that less people are working in the US now, so where is the tax money coming from? I’m not an expert but if I pay the Fed’s $1,000 in taxes every year, and get back $950, then essentially I’ve paid $50 in taxes. I know that depending on your income, more or less can be taken from you, but to me the numbers don’t make sense. There can’t possibly be enough taxes that are paid by working people, to pay for unemployed people, to sustain the country indefinitely.
I thought that things would have already collapsed, since I learned about supply and demand in the 9th grade. The teacher simply explained that, the more money that is printed by the treasury, the less value it has. So if years and years of printing money, lessening the value hasn’t caused a depression yet, will it ever? Do any of us really know how the world economies work? It just seems like there is so much information that we can’t possibly know what is true or false. One thing that I know is true, my purpose in this life is to go my own way. Whether this movement takes off or not, it has helped my life. And in the end, that is what really matters to me.
