What to avoid – a guy at my office will be getting the shaft soon enough

Recently a young guy at work (24 yrs old) had been dating this chick – a very hot looking chick – who had been bugging him for the ring, and he had wisely resisted. He hadn’t been at the office for a month and a half and so I inquired if something happened.

Well, his mom was terminally ill and so he took off some time as nature took its course. Totally understandable and that’s enough to make anyone cry. His girlfriend went to visit and pushed the idea in the poor guy’s confusion that “now is a great time to tie the knot so that your mom can attend” and the poor kid went along and did so. The woman at the office who explained this to me could not stop gushing about the sweetness of the whole thing (on the other hand, I wanted to vomit when I heard it).

When he returned I expressed condolences and learned a bit more about his new wife. She’s younger than he and … works in hospitality and travel, scoring free trips for one to Caribbean resorts on a regular basis, oddly usually on the weekends. Let’s see … a very hot young blonde chick scores free trips for herself only to island resorts on the weekends … hmmm, wonder what that is all about.

Younger guys out there, DO NOT fall for such s~~~ ever! If you ever end up in a stressful confusing situation like my younger coworker, come to us here for clear and logical advice to straighten out your mind. Guarantee you she’s going to clean his ass out – prior to any wedding he had bought his first place downtown and seemed to be setting himself up nicely. She’ll be knocked up soon after one of her island hops and peg him for the daddy and clean his butt out for good.

Ash, very very sorry to hear about your family. I can’t yet imagine that feeling but am well aware that the time will shortly be here that I’ll be suffering the same. The folks are getting there.

There is another guy at the office that I would almost bet visits this site. The dude’s a lot like I – quiet, self-sufficient, when any topic of women comes up he backs off and you can see the disgust in his face, but he will talk about his wall-hitting sister and her loser friends about like we generally talk here. The guy I originally wrote about here is for me a sad case – he’s a damned good guy, somewhat sensitive, who very likely made a major mistake in a moment of confusion and weakness. Because it’s an office place there is no way I will say anything, but it does hurt inside to know what’s coming up for him.

A buddy of mine has an ex wife that work as a travel agent and every time she got to travel anywhere for free the invitation was for her +1. Literally every single time. Her traveling was basically resorts and whatnot kissing her ass trying to make sure she had a fantastic weekend or however long her free stay was so when she had clients coming in looking for a place to go on vacation she’d send some business their way.

Most people don’t like to travel alone…these places know that. Even when my buddy didn’t go with her, she’d still bring a friend with her, because why throw away a free all expense paid trip? That poor bastards wife is probably just feeding him a line of s~~~. I’d bet that she is not only cheating on him, but is actually bringing a Chad along as a travel partner…she’s got her good little beta bucks at home and gets to take off on f~~~ fest weekends whenever she wants.
