Very sad that the FBI missed all of the many signals sent out by the Florida school shooter. This is not acceptable. They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign – there is no collusion. Get back to the basics and make us all proud!

One way to read this, is that the Russia investigation is distracting the FBI from preventing mass shootings. The FBI was tipped off to the shooter being a possible problem, but didn’t act. What was Tweeted by Trump can be read as that the Russian investigation ended up contributing to not preventing the shooting.

I think that’s taking things too literally. It’s possible for the FBI to simultaneously investigate the Russian situation but also take care of normal business, and Trump knows that. He’s sending a message to the FBI to get in line and to the people to get behind him. It’s meta game.

It is a metagame.
But I still think that the FBI is useless, and CIA has gone rogue a few decades ago. USA would be better off without them, and with a intelligence center formed by people who not only have an interest, but that have America’s interests at heart, not the pocket of some big wig from the government.

The FBI is one of the most over rated agencies in the Federal Government. They have more resources and more access to computer data base related information then almost any other agency bar the hard security services, and yet couldn’t conduct a proper ground up investigation if their lives depended on it.

For the most part, the FBI relies on local and state investigators, or other government agencies, to do the heavy lifting, and then swoops in and takes over the case about the time the cameras show up.

Beside becoming MORE heavily politicized under the Obama administration, as an agency its not really all that good at investigating. Misses stuff all the time. Great tools, average personal, poor skills.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

when first instituted the FBI was intended to
police all federal government agencies for
corruption.
Very quickly those corrupt agencies reminded
the FBI who signed their paychecks and turned
them around to police the people, not for corruption,
but for low level mentally ill threats to public
safety.
I would have taken it as insulting my abilities.

While I have doubts as to real Russian collusion
is true, the shaming of the FBI for pointing their
efforts in that direction is wrong.

Every State is guarantied a constitutional republic
form of government and is like a sovereign country
in itself. Those who work in municipal, county,
state and national government agencies are federally
regulated by default and fall within the scope of
the FBI. Government corruption at any level falls
within that scope.

The Florida shooter will not be the last shooter.
Every successful killing with a gun will be looked
at as a failure by the government to protect the people from the threat of guns. Gun control for me is a five shot grouping inside a 3 1/2 inch circle.

Killer control should be a hot political
issue but it is not, because controlling killers
would entail controlling those who kill the most.
