Most people relax during phone conversations and open up about topics that they normally would NEVER discuss in public. This is because of a false sense of security the intimacy of phone calls presents, as well as the thought that the person(s) on the other end would not do anything untoward.
Well Michael Cohen has possibly had digital audio recordings confiscated this week that he made during phone conversations, client and non-client conversations. URL for more information
Now before anyone says this is illegal, remember the thread many weeks ago regarding U.S. Telephone Recording laws. The conversation is not privileged and may be recorded per individual state law.
———————————— excerpt from article ———————————–
Cohen stated in conversations that “he wanted his business calls on tape so he could use them later as leverage“, one person said. Cohen frequently noted that under New York law, only one party had to consent to the taping of a conversation, this person added.
———————————————————————————————Take this lesson to heart and increase your personal situational awareness.
Be aware of what you are discussing during phone conversations and who the person on the other end is. They may decide to obtain this type of leverage for later use against you. It is way too easy to digitally record conversations in today’s society to not exercise caution, especially when it puts you in jeopordy.

Good advice. Thanks
I wonder how many people understand by destroying attorney-client privilege of the sitting U.S. President, that Mueller, Rosenstein, and their allies have threaten the very framework of the U.S. legal system.
Good advice. Thanks
Advice that I remember reading in many of your, and other member posts Yumbo. Its easy to forget that people have a target on their backs, even when they are walking their own way.

how many people understand
You could have limited your sentence to just these four words. The majority of the worlds population are only interested in their own self interest and how they can improve it. They see governments, industry and society as a whole as only resource generators for their respective needs. To expect them to ally cause and effect to concepts that do not impact their daily lives is delusional. Self gratification is the watch word of the day.

They say being paranoid is bad. I say it keeps me safe. Watch your 6 gentlemen.
Good advice. Any time I’m talking to someone I don’t know (whether on the phone or in person), I assume that I AM being recorded. Not because I’m sure that I am, but because there’s the possibility, especially considering that any smartphone can run a voice recorder application. My dad used to carry a microcassette recorder in his shirt pocket (well before cellphones were pocket-sized)… any time someone gave him trouble, he’d start the recorder (we lived in a one-party consent state, so perfectly legal). I don’t want to get into specific personal details about it, but I will say that some of these recordings helped him successfully fend off false DV accusations during his divorce.
I assume that I AM being recorded.
Good situational awareness

The NSA currently records every phone conversation, text, email, and social media post at their Utah Data Center.
It’s not paranoia, it’s reality.

They hate Trump so much that they’ll do ANYTHING to get him out, no matter the consequences.

That is very likely.
Look at what James Comey doing right now. Instead of fleeing the country, he wrote a book to politically attack President Trump.
They live in little social bubbles where they believe they are always right. Many of them are acting like spoiled children whom cannot tolerate an adult being in charge.

Check Buck. It’s ironic that many MGTOW.com members would be able to quote this chapter and verse, but not think about casual phone calls and the consequences of inappropriate conversations in dealing with Ex’s, lawyers or the legal system.

Getting back on topic, think about what an Ex, their legal staff or the courts would do if they obtained information that could strip members of resources.

Ah, dats usual precautions everyone knows, just not everyone care enough. There are so many ways to listen to your phone…
The less known danger everyone, I believe, should be aware of:
Google’s been quietly recording your voice; here’s how to listen to—and delete—the archive
It ALWAYS listens and sometimes records your voice even when you had NO intention of searching.
I’ve been told of a tech guy, who out of curiosity listened to those audio logs from several women who brought their phones for repair; contract says not propagate any data obtained, but viewing and listening not explicitly forbidden. The guy became very red pilled that same day and apparently MGTOW for life.
Take care.

As many other countries take cues from the US on more then just legal issues. This will have consequences in time in all western style governments.

True. But, also this could snowball into local and state level political feuds where those in power just seize a attorney’s files of a political rival, or interrogate the attorney claiming that without attorney-client privilege the attorney is now an accessory after the fact for any crimes the attorney defended.
The less known danger everyone, I believe, should be aware of:
Absolutely Vlad, one can never be too careful and Google is never your friend. Nor is any other Internet service provider, they are all about getting your information and ultimately your resources. Sound familiar?

——-Judge takes it one step further,….If they can do it to a president no one is safe with attorney-client privilege.
Judge Hands Defeat to Trump and Cohen Over FBI Raid: ‘You’ve Miscited the Law’
The president and his fixer tried to stop the feds from getting their hands on ‘privileged’ information. They failed.President Donald Trump and his longtime attorney Michael Cohen both lost a court challenge related to the FBI’s seizure of Cohen’s documents they both claim are protected by attorney-client privilege.
Cohen had asked a federal judge for a temporary restraining order to stop federal prosecutors in Manhattan from viewing the information seized by the FBI until an independent third party, called a “special master,” be allowed to sort out what is protected by attorney-client privilege.

Email is better for business dealings.
A MGTOW is a man who is not a woman's bitch!
the judge in this case,..you all know. The woman is a partisan hack with issues. It is looking like this case was given to her for this reason.
