What you see in political debates is those who advocate for the rights to something, to those who opposed it for numerous reasons. There are other dividing lines, but the drug war, area of economics, etc… will often have this dividing line.
Now, in the most recent round, there is the shooting in Las Vegas. It is appearing to be a lone gunman whose family think he snapped. He apparently had a Vegas lawsuit a number of years ago. There is apparently no political ties at all.
You are going to see a number of people come out and say the government needs to do something to protect people. Depending on the background of a shooter, you will see different people come out. As it is now, this is going to be individuals who will demand more government gun control. If the shooter had political or religious reasons, individuals would come out to demand that the government crack down on individuals with a similar background come into the country.
With each ongoing attack, or crime, or act of terror, more and more the public will demand there be action by the government to do something in the name of safety. With all this, more and more will there be less the public deciding things, and more the government deciding. With each of these, freedom gets a higher price in the marketplace to be maintained.
So, my question is: What is the price of freedom? And it is possible to have as much freedom as possible, while reducing the cost, in terms of human lives, and other things? Like in the case of shootings, is it possible to reduce these mass shootings, without disarming the citizens of a country? Even then, when you disarm the citizens, a person who snaps and goes lone wolf, or works with others, will end up getting a truck, or something else. People will grab even letter openers, or anything else, for that matter.
There can be an argument made that all people need to carry guns to deter individuals from shooting, but is it also going to be mandated that all people go through training? Is the government going to pay train people also, or will there be no training, but a gun tax put on people so they MUST buy a guy and carry it? And is it a good idea to have everyone carrying guns at them at all times?

I forget exactly who (Benjamin Franklin, I believe), stated something similar like, “Those who would trade a small piece of their liberty, to obtain a little more security, deserve neither.”
"What made you think, there'd be a livin' in sheep?, Eat, Work, Eat Work and Sleep" - Mark Knopfler.
We could all be inserted with computer chips with GPS locators so that every single move we make is monitored, so that no one can do anything without being watched.
Then we’d live in a perfect utopia where no one ever gets harmed.
That was sarcasm, btw.
All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.
Freedom is free, just walk away.
From government, from women, from everything.
Keep walking, move to another country, don’t give a f~~~.
To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.
I’ll say this much, that there would be a lot more civility if everyone was packing.
Also, there would be probably more shootings, but LESS casualties, since as soon as one weapon is drawn, dozens of others would also be drawn in retaliation. As for the general question, NO amount of safety is worth your freedom, since without freedom one might as well be dead.
Just look around you and see. We are surrounded by people who gave up their freedom for safety. And in all but a pure biological sense they are dead.
They are empty shells walking around performing their daily robotic, drone like tasks, and when they speak there isn’t one original thought coming out of their mouth. It’s just the same talking points and propaganda instilled in them through school and the media.
To me, they are dead.
All this zombie crap, if taken as a metaphor, starts looking pretty realistic. The answer is NO. “I could but I won’t”. Memini murum!
Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem.
I prefer the tumult of freedom, over the peacefulness slavery.
Nothing is without risk. I think that we, as a society, have forgotten just how harsh life once was — and because we’ve had it so easy for as long as anyone now alive can remember, we’ve developed a sometimes unrealistic expectation of freedom from all peril.
The police won’t get to me in under an hour if I need help, so I take responsibility for guarding my own personal wellbeing. I don’t care to go into details on a a public forum except to say that to rural folks, guns are tools. Just like a hammer or a saw, and not some sort of horrible object.

Anonymous6You know there is a tv show called the “Cost of Freedom” on Fox Business on the weekends.
Its called your cell phone.
Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

Freedom and Security and inversely proportional – the more Freedom you get, the less Security you get and the more Security you get, the less Freedom you get.
Its like Relationships and Security (for men) – the more involved a man is in a relationship with a woman, the less secure he is and the more secure a man is, the less involved he is in a relationship with a woman.
A world worth living in is not typically created by risk-averse, freedom hating people. That is why our society is starting to implode.
That and the whole mouse utopia thing. People are acting out violently in crowded urban areas like the mice.

Im glad someone said it.
We have all allready installed our own chip.
The price for my freedom was paid for by the militias who were armed with their own muskets in the 1770s.
"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)
So, what is the other option, besides more gun control, increased police state with technology, or increased numbers of shootings like in Vegas? What are the other options?
In regards to everyone being armed at all times? What is going to happen when arguments break out? Is it more or less likely someone is not going to shoot someone they are arguing with? In this case, you will often see the person doing mass shootings then also kills him/herself after being done?

You are going to see a number of people come out and say the government needs to do something to protect people
The people who say that are retards. We must reject them and call them out for their stupidity. They don’t deserve any say in a free society because what they advocate is the opposite of a free society. They are tyrants, nothing more.
In fact, the type of thinking that says “government should do this or that to protect people” is feminine to the core – illogical, impulsive, reckless, and unjust.
Women don’t value freedom, they only value security. If it is left for women to decide, any hope for a free society is lost. Only men value freedom. Whenever it comes up, reject this immoral feminine thinking that advocates we trade liberty for security.
