Recently, Donald Trump said the GOP is united.
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-36968053

    Trump quote:
“It’s never been so well united… I would say right now it’s the best in terms of being united that it’s been since we began.”

My question is, what is the GOP united behind? I know this can be a bit tricky, because “RINO” is thrown out as a label to anyone who doesn’t agree fully with someone. You label them a “RINO” and go into the “No true Scotsman” realm, but what are the united factors here?

What I see is a number of factions here, with maybe tax cuts as the only thing uniting. Is the core of unity opposition to Democrat or the label “liberal”?

I ask this here, because you saw what happened with the repeal of Obamacare, Blue State Republicans opposed the bill, because it took away government subsidies, and you had individuals like Rand Paul who ended up opposing it, because the government was involved too much in it, and it didn’t go far enough. Trump got so frustrated at this, he threatened to work with Democrats.

So, what is the GOP united behind?

Establishment guys are united behind their own agendas. Let’s not be fooled, there is a big majority in both parties who work for the same interest. They may be of different parties, but they are the same folks. There is a very small minority of people who are in Congress to “work” for the people.

In regards to tax cuts, they have to get this done. WHY? Because they cannot afford to go into next year and into the mid-terms with no victories under their belts. When push comes to a shove, people will always work in their own best interest, and if they want to get re-elected, they have to work on Trump’s agenda. Flake, and Corker and just the recent examples of this. They know they cannot win re-election in their own states, so they dropped out of the races.

And let’s not forget, there are still alot of Democrats in red states that are up for re-election next year. They cannot afford to be seen halting Trump’s agenda because their constituencies voted for it. Candidates that push for Trump’s agenda, have been beating out the establishment guys all this year, no reason to think that it won’t be the same next year. The people are more united than you may think. And they will tip the scales.

I’ll tell you what unites not just the Republicans, but the Democrats too. It’s called gynocentrism.

They are united behind whatever it takes to get more campaign contributions (also known as bribes or backhanders), and of course, to get re-elected. So, in this sense, they have much in common with the Democrats. And absolutely, Venom, many companies bribe, also known as make ‘campaign contributions’, to BOTH parties and guarantee their private agenda gets traction, funding, etc.

Republicans couldn’t unite behind repealing Obamacare and replacing it with nothing, because this isn’t what they actually believe. They only talk about small government during election season. Sure, they are bought and owned by different special interests than the liberals. But they really have no coherent ideology. Debt? They raised the ceiling, just like the liberals.

Ideological they are not. Trump didn’t care which Obamacare light bill passed, as long as he scored a political victory.

A better question would be what are both parties united behind?

The answer is bulls~~~ FIAT money/crony banking practices, Israel, and never ending war.
