What is the dumbest thing you’ve ever done while in a relationship?

for example: doing something stupid to pursue validation

Project the male definition of love onto a woman.

before becoming mgtow. i thought women love men the same way men love women. i was so far from the truth.

men love women for who they are.
women love men for what they provide.

why are diamond engagement rings important for women? It is the what that is important. not the who

    signing the marriage contract.
being a servant instead of a man.

I’m going to steer clear of the marriage on this one, because no s~~~ that turned out bad.

I dated a girl for about 8-9 months. First couple months were great, she was so much fun. (Side note, pump and dump that girl, it always ends bad) By month 2 or 3 she talking about getting married. I get along great with her family, she gets along great with mine. My dad hates everyone, but she had him wrapped around her little finger.

By about month 4 she gets in a car accident and totals her car. Of course her credit sucks so she can’t get a loan by herself. TaxGuy, being the great White Knight that I was, cosigns for the car. About two payments in, she is missing the payments so I had to pay or f~~~ up my credit. A month or two later and I catch her cheating on me.

I eventually had to tell her that she had a week to either return the car to me or get a new loan. Otherwise I would report the car as stolen. She got a new loan at something like 24% interest. Not that I cared at that point. F~~~ her.

From that point on, anytime I met a new girl my friends would ask me if it was serious. You know, like buy her a car serious? I love my friends for never letting each other forget when you have f~~~ed up royally. That salt poured in the wound keeps your stupidity fresh in your mind. A real friend will do that for you.

Was being an idiot (on purpose) in front of them hoping they would back off……NOPE!

What people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, then it slowly fades, leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. Your parents are gonna do it. Break the cycle. Rise above. Focus on science.

    Listened to her.

    Full story:

Listened to her complaining about her exes. Or talking about what (fun) stuff she did with them. Or how a certain song reminded her of him. Hell, she once went to Germany with a motorcycle group (she rode it herself), and they asked where X was. She came back home after a week, no joy on her face whatsoever at seeing me sitting there in her living room because she f~~~ing missed the ex who cheated on her a couple of times. MAJOR RED FLAG. She even f~~~ing started telling me how she missed him the second she walked in and we hugged.

    The good part:

I walked out immediately and gave her the silent treatment for two weeks. She came to my place (a one and a half hour drive) and stood outside my door for god knows how long. I had been drinking hard and woke up around 3pm, saw she called me a few times, sent me text messages and all that. I ignored those. She called me again. I didn’t pick up. I looked at her from behind the curtain. She was crying. I didn’t care. She stood there for another hour and then went back home. When she was home, she sent me a LOOOOONG text message about how I was a piece of s~~~ and she didn’t understand why I walked out two weeks earlier, then ended with the plea to PLEASE TALK TO ME.

    I didn’t.

In the words of KM: one chance, per chick, per lifetime.

    Never heard of her again.

Moving in with a bitch. Fatal mistake. Regrettably horrendous.

My last ex and her c~~~ kid made my life a f~~~ing living hell so much, I had to take benzos and large amounts of whiskey, to stop myself from killing them before I finally got out.

    Told her I loved her.

Sometimes I think that giving her a chance in the first place, saying OK when she asked me out, was the dumbest thing. But then again, if I’d sidestepped the relationship entirely, I may never have learned the s~~~load of lessons that I did. Every cloud and so on.

But when she said I love you and I responded in kind, that was pretty dumb. I mean Christ, she said it on our third date. I should’ve heard the alarm bells ringing then, but I was more trusting back then and was determined to give her a chance.

Thinking we had a future together and that we could share the same dream.

Damn, that hurts on retrospect….quick another beer to quench the redpill rage!!!
