I am looking for a TV antenna simply because i enjoy television and i do not want to have my computer interfer with it (like my indoor antenna) plus i want more channels so i can hopefully get both NYC and Philly channels.
I want something that gets me at least 80 miles signal that is on amazon which is not some bulls~~~ scam (i don’t mind paying i just don’t want bulls~~~) however my limit is 80 dollars after shipping.
Also for me it is part nostalgia as i remember watching TV over the air in the past. Hell i even got a CRT and a converter box so i can have a similar experience to it.

Eighty miles is a fairly long way for any terrestrial antenna ..
I have always liked Winegard antennas and have used them since the 1980’s.
My first choice would be the Winegard HD8200U with a boom length of about 169 inches and width of 110 inches .. and a range of about 65+ miles over open terrain. Runs about $122.00 delivered.
My other choice would be the Winegard HD7698P at 169 inches in length and width of 54 inches with a price of $105.00 delivered. Also 65+ miles in perfect conditions.
These are really big antennas so they need a decent strong mount.
You will need to obtain a good mast $15 and quality tripod $22 or other decent wall or chimney strap mount and good coax and gold plated coax connectors and aluminum ground wire and ground rod. If all the stations are in same direction you won’t need to rotate .. otherwise a rotator will cost about $100 plus cable $25.
The secret to a good signal is to try and keep from splitting it too many times. If you plan to split a signal more than one time (two sets), I’d recommend an amplified splitter .. one cable in and up to four cables out for four tv sets .. or you can also amplify the signal at the antenna and use a passive 4-way splitter inside the house. The best amplifiers have a power supply inside and send a low voltage right over the tv cable to the amp mounted just at the antenna. If you don;t need to split the signal more than one time (for two sets) you can probably get by without any amplifier at all .. makes life easier.
Antennas like these really make a difference but they need a good ground for safety and a strong mount to survive the wind and ice and elements. I also unhook these during lightning storms to protect the equipment. You can also install inline coax lightning arrestors just outside the point where the coax enters the house. Also .. when you run the coax into the building .. run it below the point where you are feeding it through the wall and then loop it up away from building and then inside with a gentle curve so as to form a four inch rain-drip-loop and keep the moisture from following the coax into the wall. This way the rain will drip off the wire outside the building and keep the inside wall from rotting and getting wet.

Just show me the amazon links for them.
