I found a list of hobbies, focused around what men enjoy. Well, being a man, I felt oblidged to take a gander at what may be upon that list. There are several on this list that I found I am already partaking in, and several that I find interest in with the ideas on this site.

If you have some spare time, I recommend this site for an idea of trying out some fun things to do:

    45 Manly Hobbies

I currently play guitar, read a lot, play chess, cook and am looking into hunting and some others as well.

What sort of things are on your list?

Playing chess, programming, painting, reading, driving, learning English. Sometimes I really enjoy by repairing something.
Marksmanship and SCUBA diving are what I would dedicate myself with a big pleasure. Unfortunately, I can’t swim, also civilian firearms are banned in this country.

Happiness for all and let no one be forgotten ("Roadside picnic", Arkady and Boris Strugatsky)

I am a hunter of natural treasures. I hunt deer, morel mushrooms, cool rocks and minerals. I enjoy the searching as much as the finding. One day I hope to hunt Gold, not just for money, but for the challenge.

I also enjoy woodworking, someday I want to have the knowledge and skill to build my own cedar canoe. It’s an ambitious goal, but I feel it’s attainable. As men we are capable of great things. The only problem is time.

Never looked at gardening as a hobby, more like a necessity. Matter a fact look at several of the items in the list as necessity. Cooking, fishing, working on cars, and marksmanship along with gardening.
Turning a wrench on a car I guess might also be part hobby, but the one that is to me my hobby would be woodworking.
I make a few extra coins woodworking, that might take it out of the hobby and put it into the job area.

Reading, as the article says men today just don’t read. I always think about a doco series I saw on the American Civil war, the soldiers were obviously very masculine especially given the period and yet their letters home were very well thought out and articulate.

There are a number of hobbies on the list that are like that, not “macho” but manly all the same.

    My list,
    I play guitar
    I read/write
    Build models
    Grow my own food
    cooking
    weight training
    history

Would love to try archery and fencing.

I ski, ride my bike and play guitar. And, of course, like everyone on Tinder, I enjoy fine dining.

Good to see what others are doing! For me it’s hiking, birding, herping (looking for snakes and other reptiles), photography, painting, writing, and a lot of reading. In the past I was into SCUBA, building models, kite flying, etc.
