A person is only bored if they lack the imagination to find hobbies that keep him or her occupied.

Read a book. Write a book. Play a video game. Watch a movie. Go to the theater. Go for a walk in a local park. Make a project in building something. The options for low cost hobbies is fairly long.

I chill out with my dog all day and we go for walks and take swims in the pool. I’m into aquariums also, I might set up a 75 gallon planted freshwater tank. If you guys havent seen this hobby its is pretty amazing and challenging. Some of these guys tanks are works of art.

Shoot guns, make music, write, make games, ect. Or just relax and drink in life. That’s something people don’t really do any more, especially at my age.

What do you do when you’re bored?

Are you serious? Girlfriends have said “I’m bored” to me and I just tell her to clean the bathroom floor. Then she won’t be “bored” anymore. I know why they do it too — because they think someone ELSE is supposed to entertain them.

They can’t entertain themselves or find something to do.

Of all the things to do, see, read, think, imagine, create, places to go, feel and experience…. I’ve never been “bored” a day in my life.

As far as I’m concerned, 25 hours a day is just not enough.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

The last time I was bored was when I was 8. No s~~~. I actually remember that moment. But ever since then I’ve kept busy and I’ve never felt bored since.

I acknowledge it and then let it pass. It is usually a fleeting thing for me.

Whatever you do don’t get Plecostomus catfish if you want to have plants. They eat vegetation so fast, Greenpeace try to board their aquariums.

    I like to:

    Watch comedy, manly action movies/shows
    Look and post around MGTOW
    Watch self-improvement videos on YouTube
    Shoot hoops in the park
Ride my bike around the county
    Lift weights
    Swim
    Daydream: winning the lottery
    Plan my Man Cave
Play Resident Evil and Call Of Duty Modern Warfare on my PS3
Watch current events and politics on FOX, ABC7 Chicago
    Take long naps
If there’s severe thunderstorms, I go in the garage and watch it
    Workout with resistance bands
Think about a book I’m struggling to write. It’s my version of Resident Evil, but with more a male cast and a different story plot.

I feel like I’m never bored.

If I’m not at work I’m at the gym or Boxing/sports.

THen at home i just got a powerful new computer and I have so many games its not even funny…
but i mainly stick to Fightcade and Super Turbo.

And I have a bunch of movies on my HDD i havent even gotten around to watching yet, and not just new ones.
I’m gonna catch “The 5 Deadly Venoms” part 1 and 2 on my next days off.

No wife or kids(thank god) so i do have a lot of time, i just never feel the sense of boredom anymore.

Boredom is wonderful. It tells me I must be doing something wrong. It’s a good time to think about where you are in your life and chance to makes changes. It’s often difficult to change or even figure out what needs changing when you’re in the middle of everything.

    Ok. Then do it.

For me, boredom only ever happens during extreme depression and I doubt lasts more than an hour. This isn’t because I can’t think of anything to do but because I don’t have the energy to and I just don’t want to do anything. There are easily probably ten things you could do to keep from being bored while still staying in the same relative position you are and without any items nearby (and this isn’t even including high brain activity, which easily bumps it into the thousands!).

"Woman is a misbegotten man and has a faulty and defective nature in comparison to his. Therefore she is unsure in herself. What she cannot get, she seeks to obtain through lying and diabolical deceptions. And so, to put it briefly, one must be on one's guard with every woman, as if she were a poisonous snake and the horned devil. ... Thus in evil and perverse doings woman is cleverer, that is, slyer, than man. Her feelings drive woman toward every evil, just as reason impels man toward all good." –Saint Albertus Magnus, Dominican theologian, 13th century

Can’t imagine being bored. Even when waiting for something, I have so many things to think about. What can happen is that I lack the motivation to do anything, in which case I just go to sleep.

I used to be bored very often when I was a child… now I always have something to do so I am never bored.

When I have free time I:
    – sleep long
    – jog
    – go to the gym
    – watch movies
    – write on forums
    – meditate
    – plan what to do on the next day
    – read books
    – looking for events in my city and if I find something interesting – participate in this event
    – do many other things

I like to camp, fish, hike, start a fire, cook on said fire, pee outside which is the best feeling next walking barefoot on cool soft earth. I find shooting quite relaxing but even more relaxing to shoot percussion revolvers or other black powder guns as its much more a labor of love then. Love a good bycycle or motorcycle ride. I still go play in the river, walk up stream catch crawdads swim in the river, jump from trees into it. Have a drink with a good friend by fire side during an autumn night and solve the worlds problems together. Watch a good movie. Renassance fairs are a good time. One word CANOE, great activity alone or with company. Read a good book, one of merit, such as 1984 or Inferno a true work of weight. I write, draw. Gardening too is great and you have a lighter grocery bill too. Go to a meuseam neat things there and much more than you might be able to cover in a whole day, depending on the place.

    Easy question:
I lie down on my bed enjoying the fact that I have the time to get bored.

Let me put it in easy terms: You can always find things to do, if you get bored often its because you are lazy and enjoy doing nothing. And there is nothing wrong with that either.

I have 7 things I can do when I get bored and dont want to be:
-Clean the house (yep, have to sometimes).
-Call some friends and set a movie/series/games marathon with food/beer.
-Stream/play computer games (I have a lot I love, but not that much time to play them now days).
-Read books (love this, and with speed reading it beats movies hard. only problem is you cant share the experience).
-Study. Mostly Economics, markets, some math.
    -Exercise. Self explanatory.
-Go sleep early (if after work for example. Underrated).

    Madman has the right idea!

I miss my big tank, 150 gallons. I still have it, it sits empty with evaporation salt lines all the way to the bottom. I turned it off after coming back from VT and discovering the power went out, the house was @37 degrees and the tank around 55, all the fish were swimming sideways or upside down. Milo was the sole survivor and still lives today in the kitchen in a small tank.

I turned the heat off for that zone to save money and won’t be reviving the big tank until that zone is hooked to the rocket stove!

Starve every money gobbling machine everywhere you can, the hardships we face today may become a walk in the park compared to the way it may be tomorrow.

I used to sit and stare at the fish for hours whenever I got depressed. At $390 a gallon for oil I can’t afford to heat fish!

I seriously recommend a fish tank if you’re going through any kind of depression, it really takes your mind off it.

I like to read. I like to paint. I’m not good, put I still enjoy putting brush to canvas and seeing what happens. I am also into model railroading. I like trains, and I like that I can make a little world of my own.
