    I think they are markers to let you know you have been in that thread.

    Yes if you’re logged in and you have entered that thread before, it adds a marker in the code to label it “previously read”. Going in and going out may not be enough for it to show until you actually refresh (or revisit) that forum, but that’s what it means.

    If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.
