I like to read fiction, but fiction that really makes you think. Not some throw away bulls~~~ like Hunger Games with glaringly obvious motifs.

Great book, highly recommend it to anyone interested in philosophy and the nature of human consciousness. Great read.
Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.
Jan, that book sounds excellent. I’m putting it on my reading list.
I just finished reading “How to be Free in an Unfree World.” That one was recommend by someone in our forums. It’s an excellent book. So excellent that I may just have to read it again this week. I’m also nearly finished reading “The Manipulated Man.”
I’m also reading “Ishi, The Last Yahi,” “The Firecracker Boys” and re-reading Tim Cahill’s most excellent collection of adventure travel essays, “Please Pass the Butterworms.”
Silverstone, “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” is such an excellent book. I could never understand how the movie “Blade Runner” could be so popular when they dismissed all of the best parts of the book. Hollywood.

Donavon’s Becoming a Barbarian. Revelation from the Bible. Heavy stuff but encouraging; the world ends well. Worlds Before Our Own by Brad Steiger, very enlightening on the pre-Flood world of Noah.

The Stand, Stephen King. I’ve got a stately King collection, but The Stand is one of his few epics that I’d always meant to try but hadn’t yet gotten around to. I’m nearly halfway through it now.

That is one that I have read, re-read, and re-read probably 5 times. I own two different editions of it.
Currently working through “The Sin of Obedience” and “F*ck Feelings” which were recommended here…
No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.
I work in academics, which involves a boatload of reading. Summer recreational reading right now is the Stormlight series by Brandon Sanderson and a lot of ammo reloading research. Since fully digesting the red pill this is one of the most rewarding hobbies I’ve ever found; purely mechanical, lots of patience, meticulous attention to detail, and the satisfaction of, umm… firing your own loads. 😀

I’m currently reading stand by your manhood by Peter Lloyd. I would recommend this book. It’s in the same category as Helen smith’s men on strike.
