Now if you didn’t read the article, apparently Russia’s lawmakers are trying to decriminalize domestic violence except in cases of bodily harm or rape. In my opinion, it seems like a good idea on paper, since nowadays women can just say their husband/boyfriend slapped them and the poor guy’s up s~~~’s creek, but at least now it seems like it’s gonna be a little harder for women to claim DV unless she can prove she’s badly hurt or been raped. IF this goes through, I mean. So, what do you guys think?

Apologies if this has already been done, I just really don’t feel like checking God knows how many pages to see if it’s already a topic on here.

Where i live a woman only has to suspect you are going to commit dv to have you delt with . Hope that hits here one day but i doubt it . Alot of money and resources would be saved by all the false allegations.

Here is also many discussions about creation of a sort of temporary detention centers for domestic violators. So that is not a woman who will leave the house to avoid beating, but a man who should go away from the house by the good will.
