Hey guys.  I have struggled with weight my entire adult life (as a teenager I was able to burn off the fries and burgers).

I am 47, 5ft 9in, 220 lbs.  so yeah… a little on the pudgy side.   I have found something that not only makes me feel GREAT but also gives me plenty of energy and ‘de-toxes’ my system as well.

It is all common sense and you have heard it time and time again.   Before I spill the details I am going to tell you that my pics for what I eat are modeled after what women eat.

I know guys – please don’t start lobbing tomatoes, eggs or concrete bricks just yet please let me explain.

Women have done most of the homework and I just emulate what they eat because it benefits me as well.

Most manly-men like a good steak, ribs, potatoes, fries, pasta (etc etc etc) right??   My system not only doesn’t tolerate stuff like that but also I get really big on just a little of that stuff.   Sure- I LOVE it!! Who doesn’t?   It’s MAN food MAN!!!

What women normally eat (IMO) are salads, soups, yogurt, plenty of water, fruits, veggies and grains.

I try to eat as much of that as I can.

The look on my dad’s face is priceless though – we will be at a steak joint, he will have a big steak, fries (or potato) and a large beer.   I get a salad, or fish and usually tea.

The look on his face is (JESUS CHRIST!  When did my son turn into a mo??).

The looks or shaming tactics don’t bother me because the food really does give me more energy than eating ‘wrong’.

I should have also told you guys that yes, I believe I DO have an eating problem.   I have a problem controlling my portions.   When I cook for me alone – I usually eat WAY too much.    That is willpower (or lack thereof).   I believe it is the same s~~~ (mentally speaking) that make some people drinkers or gamblers, sex-aholics – whatever gives you pleasure – you want MORE of it right??

So thanks for wading through all this babble.   If you aren’t already eating like a woman you may want to give it a shot.  Your body with thank you.
