Something I never understood about weddings…

The groom walks out.. no music plays, hes dressed in a normal tuxedo…

The bride comes out, everyone stands, music plays, shes in a beautiful expensive ass dress…

 

What did she do to deserve this treatment?

Does she have a dowry? No.

Is she a virgin? No.

Is she wealthier than him? Usually No.

What exactly is it about the modern day woman that merits all this treatment? The normal western woman deserves to be treated no better than her fiance (cuz feminism is equal)… so why is it always the same?

Gorgeous dress, everyone stands, music, last to appear…   It’s bad luck to see the bride but not the groom before the wedding?

No wonder women are all about marriage. Its ridiculous.

Can anyone explain it to me? It makes literally zero sense with today’s standards.

Nothing merits this treatment. I don’t think any of us are illogical enough to actually explain such wasteful ego driven activity. More than likely all responses will confirm your theory. I Think that’s at the center of the MGTOW movement. Once women decided to toss the social contract out the window, they still expected to be treated like princesses and have their whims a-catered to.    Uh uh. It’s what we do in today’s society – put pussy on a pedestal. But it is BS, and I agree with you completely. I see it as symbolic of what is to come for the man during marriage and divorce.

We’re not going to change it; hence, GOOW and not subscribe to the institution of marriage. I think the raw deal of marriage has been realized for many years because less and less men choose to get married. They just live together with the girlfriend. How did our gynocratic society deal with that? They created common law provisions in the family law legislation.

Now, MGTOW are starting to stay away from cohabitation too. What well be next the move for gynocratics in regard to family law? Extend the raw deal to dating and not cohabitating? It seems like there are no bounds to the measures they will take to keep men as utility.

My grandmother was a saint, a virgin until she married, and remained a saint and was regarded as such by everyone who knew her.

My mother was and is very close to a saint, a virgin until she married, best cook in the world, crochets, cleans, does gardening, and is as nurturing as a woman can be. But she did have a ‘crisis’ that she went through, but it’s not like she’s some c~~~ who can’t get back on track. Now she’s very in control of her emotions.

My sister, a virgin until married at 28, never worked once married, can’t cook at all, and I can’t even have an intelligent conversation with her. No hard feelings…she just has nothing upstairs (but got a full-ride academic scholarship to a top university and graduated with a high GPA).

So there you go, 3 generations of worthy brides, well bred by the standards of their days, and I know that today…even a disciplined virgin ain’t worth a f~~~ to have around. Love ya sis!

Once upon a time…even before I realized being married was stupid, I always thought the wedding day itself was nothing but a gigantic waste.  Now that I’m really not planning on ever being married…it almost brings me great joy knowing that ultimately I get to deny some woman her dream day.  I guess its just one little way men can say thank you to feminism and biased marriage laws for pretty much making it impossible to find a good wife or have a lasting marriage.

My gf took me to 2 weddings, because reasons. I said sure. All it did was further solidify my position on the whole deal. This last weekend, everything from going out to eat.. to what to do with the rest of the day, went along these lines.

 

Me: What do you want to eat?

Her: I don’t know, you choose.

Me: Okay, I choose X.

Her: I don’t really want X.

Me: Okay I’m done suggesting, since you said I could choose.

Her: Well fine I’ll pick I guess.  (LITERALLY — 45 mins later…)

Me: *Suggests zero ideas to get shot down*

Me: Next time I’ll pick where to eat from the start, because I was hungry for the last 45mins while you were deciding what YOU wanted. You don’t like it, you don’t have to eat there.

Because secretly women want the man to take charge and make all the decisions.  They will be happy to go along with anything you say as long as you say “We are doing this” and give them no choice in the matter.  I thought this was pretty much one of the key rules when it comes to Game and Frame?

That reminds me of something.
We have photography classes in my college, at the beginning of the year our teacher was explaining the  content of a photography, the pic was about a woman in wedding dress.
The guy goes ” so, obviously she is in a white dress, to symbolize that she is pure, or that at least that’s what she said to her husband”.
