Why not just put a down payment on a new house or condo instead of spending a HUGE amount of money on a wedding? Or why not invest that money in a mutual fund? I’d rather buy a sports car than to spend $30,000 for one day. These people need to learn how to stretch their dollars. It shouldn’t cost $2000 for someone to take wedding photos. Buy a nice camera and pay your unemployed cousin $200 to do that.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

    Money for a wedding?

Money for my own early grave?

Any amount is rather spent on useful things than on a wedding.

In July of 2018, this honey pot forum was sold out to an unidentified NPC sock puppet and troll organization. Most independent thinkers and writers migrated to other MGTOW forums as a result of the never-ending infighting and deliberate trouble starting caused by members who were given "carte blanche" by the admin to do whatever they want. Before my departure, I only left a few thousand cat pics here to comfort and ridicule the feminist owners who now run this place. Their background agenda is to make MGTOW look like a club of losers the public eye. And during the course of 2019, they actually managed to destroy almost all other MGTOW venues as well. Here is the truth about "theindependentman.org" aka "TIM" which was created as an extended workbench to further divide the community. When you register, they install a spyware Zombie cookie on your browser that does all kinds of things the user does not know of: http://www.filedropper.com/essay-on-the-removal-of-malware-cookies-used-by-tim

Even with the ridiculous cost they expect you to pay for a wedding, one single day, pales in comparison with the inevitable divorce rape by a woman who swore undying love to you and now could care less if you live or die.

    No, just NO.

I seem to recall that in the past the bride’s family would pay for the wedding. Then, somewhere along the line it became the would-be groom whom would be expected to foot the bill even if the bride said “no”.

Especially when the ending result is:

    Goodbye life
    Goodbye friends
    Goodbye fun
    Goodbye sex
    Goodbye money
    Goodbye freedom

    Hello slavery
Hello list of things to do around the house
    Hello chores
    And last but not least
    HELLO C~~~!

Marriage, co-habitation and association with women are also too expensive.

Feminism isn't about equality with men, it's about leverage over men.

Weddings are a staged event to say, “Look, look, she’s worth it!”

The sin IMO is that women convince men to pay for this charade.

Should say, “Look, Look, another dumbass allowed himself to pay for this BS.”

In which context are they too expensive?
    Financial?
    Emotional?
    Physical?
    Psychological?

    Oh
Silly me, all 4 are correct.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

Major clue is if a woman says her wedding will be ‘the happiest day of her life.’

S~~~ bitch, does that mean the remainder of your life post-wedding will just be a declining misery from then on?

Trust me, a wedding is chump change compared to the cost of a divorce. I got married in 2004 and if I had used that money to buy Apple shares I would be pretty much retired by now.

What amazes me is how women are quite happy to spend the equivalent of a years take home pay on one day. When I got married, all of our friends were doing the same and it became a women’s p~~~ing contest to see who could have the biggest and best wedding. The ironic thing is, the couples that spent the most money were the ones that split up the soonest as they were clearly over compensating for something.

Plus it seems to take 12-18 months to arrange a wedding, it doesn’t really take that long but women just like to milk the whole experience for as long as possible.

Weddings are a wallet raping from start to finish, as soon as you mention the word wedding before anything such as “Venue”, “Cake”, “Photographer”, “Flowers” or “Food” you can basically quadruple the price. I have a £1500 wedding photograph album sitting in a cupboard somewhere that I looked at once in the whole 8 years we were married. A £1200 wedding dress that took months of fittings, yet was worn for a couple of hours and then hung in a wardrobe.

All of this is just a princess day for women and a smokescreen for what they actually want. A contract to send you out to the plantation, to stop having sex and for them to stay home all day. It states that when they are bored of this and want to get back on the carousel they can keep the house, kick you out and get you to pay for everything.

    F~~~ that.

For women, everything eventually boils down to Alpha Fucks, Beta Bucks.

Thanks for the link. So true.

They have one on divorce as well but seem to be missing a video for the 15 years of strife in between.

Yeah, and if you don’t have a daughter, your wife wants to have a fabulously large ceremony to remarry you and her.
And it’ll get paid for by guess whom?
And “guess who’s the bastard” if you don’t think it’s a fabulous idea.

    WTF?

Yeah, let’s make it an annual event.
    “you’re bankrupt, I don’t love you anymore.”
