While that article was biased, got more wrong than right, and interviewed the wrong people (Sandman, AVfM, etc.), I was surprised that it still made a halfhearted attempt at balance. The new norm for mainstream media is to buy clickbait from an ideologue and add further “polish” through editing so women consumers can then read “facts” designed to buttress their dearly held fantasies.

It makes me wonder if Martin Daubney isn’t a MGTOW hiding in plain sight.

From what Keymaster posted, I found the article was far less bias than I expected.

From what I understand, the writer of the article pointed that we men have be hurt by a society, and women, whom view us as disposable slaves, and we are walking away.

I did admire how the article pointed out how false rape accusations, especially on college campuses are driving me not to date, nor have anything to do with women for fear of being wrongly harmed by society, due to false accusations.

I’m not sure about Dean Esmay but the rest of the people who took part seemed to do a good job of explaining the real issues and the reaction strategies to cope.

I read it yesterday on r/reddit. They posted screen shots. That’s where I go when this site is down. I saw one of the captured comments in the article was. “Take that f~~~ing site down”. These Nazi’s sure hate free speech, They need to be put in their place. I loved the line that “MGTOW is men’s way of taking back the power”.

What concerns me is you know these f~~~ers want nothing more than to doxx all the members and send transcripts to employers. I’m assuming that’s one of the reasons for the strong passwords.

John the other has a video about fighting SJW’s and says it’s libel when they start a letter writing campaign. I’m not an attorney so I don’t know for sure.

Just on and on. Any male interest is met with an insult. Not being with a female means insult time, accuse the guy of being gay, or jerking off, or whatever. And this has been going on for decades, with women refusing to speak out against it, and the vast majority actively participating, encouraging it, and even mocking their own brothers, husbands and sons.

The safe space thing is so hilarious because women are the ones primarily throwing out insults to men, but obviously their definition of safe space means women can continue their nonsense but men are not supposed to be able to reply back, or even leave. They’re just supposed to stay there, be insulted, and keep crawling around showing interest in women to be insulted some more for it.

On one hand they claim guys are running around f~~~ing everything that moves, so it’s a “double standard” and then on the other hand their primary insult is a guy “can’t get laid.” How are these two contradictory ideas somehow simultaneously commonly held at the same time? This is doublethink. 1984 isn’t coming, it’s already here, and has been here for awhile. Heck I don’t even really know if ISIS exists, are we really at war with EurAsia? Anyone remember Rambo? Just hilarious stuff. MGTOW is the truth, so it gets attacked. We don’t even really have anything to do with anything. We don’t tell men to do anything. Just the option is there to think and that you as a man have inherent value. Western women don’t even want men to think they have value and independence, they think men are there just to be insulted and used as utility. It’s truly amazing to me. We talk about slaves leaving the plantation, but I think it goes even beyond that. I think the plantation owners valued slaves more than Western women value men.

We made our point, now let’s try to move on and continue in roughly that direction …

I thought it was a decent article. Not sure if you can expect much better. The reporter IS going to end up going to the sources that get the most views and so on. A MGTOW can argue with this or that, but it wasn’t bad overall.

Reporters have always gone for the low hanging fruit and, with a news cycle measured in hours, they’ve even more excuses to work fast and sloppy. Daubney most likely had a dozen or more other features in various stages while he was stitching together his MGTOW expose, so what was he going to do and who was he going to try contact? Should he risk joining here and hoping he can interview the deliberately anonymous membership? Or should he contact those who thanks to their continuous self promotion are already on the media’s radar? Which group do you think he can depend on giving him an interview?

Sandman wants to be interviewed. He earns money from Youtube. Anything that gets his face and name out there means more clicks, even if those clicks are just to say he should kill himself. Elam is more of the same. He’s selling memberships at his site. Any publicity, even bad publicity, carries the potential of more money.

Considering how his industry works, I’m quite surprised Daubney’s article wasn’t a piece of s~~~. It’s to his credit that he was able to produce what he did under the constraints he faced.
