Good Morning Gents. You have arrived at the new mgtow.com site location. The name is propagating worldwide, so it may take other members a little longer to arrive. We have migrated the entire site (and all contents) here but are still checking that for integrity. Performance & speed should be VASTLY improved, especially when logged in. We are still “testing” this environment but it’s looking great so far. Thank you! And we hope you notice a BIG improvement.

Good job! Yep, the site does seem faster.

I think the migration process might be the explanation for some quirks I noticed in the past few days.

Holy crap, the site is hella-super-ultra-fast now! This is a big deal.

In my early days on MGTOW.com (you know, way back eight months ago), I thought how cool this site is and what a great bunch of guys these are, but damn, the pages load so slowly that I’d click out and go back to Reddit’s MGTOW forum. Imagine how many more men will dig deep into these fast-loading pages of wisdom now that they can move about so freely.

To all of you guys behind the curtain who make this site great, thank you!

Yes there is definitely a difference, and at the same time fighting off those idiots attacking the site you are doing one hell of a job.

Thank you for noticing! It’s a big difference for logged in members. Click around the forums (forward and back), the forums index page…. logging in… posting…. “latest topics” loads fast… no dragging. Been in the works for a while but we made the move tonight (about 2 hours ago).

Too early for prediction, but those quirks and white screens should be a thing of past now.
Can’t wait to see how it handles 50 / 100 logged in members at once, but even with 20, it’s SSSSSSMOKIN’!!

In early testing, I just about sprayed my shorts it was so quick. We were going to do it next weekend but didn’t want to wait. Another plan fell through, so we decided LETS DO IT! Worst thing really to try this on a Saturday night (in case something went wrong)…. but prepared all week and just had to pull the trigger. I’m stoked!

Yes, website is definitely a lot faster. Like 5 times faster to my opinion. Good job.

You not only changed for a host with faster internet connection but the site looks slightly differently (fonts, pictures, little changes). You must have been optimizing the software of the site too.

That’s why this improvement was really needed. (I was just thinking that the slow load times are due to me browsing from the other side of the world. But it definitely improved a lot.)

Latest topics (and paging through forums and threads) was heavy, but now it’s like real-time flipping through a book. Rating is also instant too.

Special thank you to all for your reports, encouragement and support. Matt NYC who wrote in about pulling up the “recent 100 posts” and spotted an error – now fixed. And RoyDal for writing in as often as you do. He truly cares and will send snapshots and everything.

Now we can get back to PRODUCTION.

I’m only sorry we didn’t do it sooner. Could have saved a lot of grief. But glad you’re pleased with it. It was so necessary in recent weeks because we were seeing big spikes. Couldn’t take it anymore.

Today was our highest traffic day in 8 months. Just the first day was that much of a difference and even with that increase, the load average never even reached 1. The old site would start smoking at 8 or 10+ with just 30 members logged in. The difference is huge.

It’s faster than loading the letter P, New Times Roman, font size 12, color black, up to a static website with 0 traffic! Two blocks from the server!
