Since I know there’s some guys on here from my area in and around Houston/Galveston, I don’t know if you’ve received the notification, but there’s a 70% chance a storm heading our way could turn into a tropical storm, named Bill.  Figured I’d spread the word as we could expect from 6-12 inches of rain, and Weather Channel has barely touched on it, if at all.  Stay safe, fellow Houstonian MGTOW!

I saw there was supposed to be 1-2 inches but nothing about this storm. Thanks for looking out.

There was a glorious storm. I was out fetching some Starbucks when the overcast turned ugly. I quickly ran to hid under cover when the rain became so heavy it started to saturate my shirt. In about a minute the heavy rain subsided. Talk about a near miss!

Things like that make one examine his life and see what he’s been missing. #firstworldproblems

Funny you say that, because hurricane Michelle came through Houston in April of this year, for me, and royally effed my happy little blue pill existence.  Lost my daughter and my house.  Moral of the story is: it’s always hurricane season when you’re married.   Bring it on bill.

I wouldn’t complain if the storm would be strong enough.  I say bring on the emergency pay. 😛

Actually, the storm hasn’t landed yet. Tomorrow and Tuesday it arrives.

    Hilarious comment from @entropy.

A tropical storm named “Bill”? I thought tropical storms were always named after women.
At first there’s a lot of sucking and blowing and then POOF you’re house is gone.

Old joke, but as long as @entropy is laughing too….

This is my go-to site for all hurricane news.

National Weather Service / National Hurricane Center.
    http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/

Clicking around there put me on to the storm’s path: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php?basin=atlc&fdays=5

I don’t know who named it Bill, but the NWS didn’t name it.

I think what I read was that it would be named “Bill” if it reaches Tropical Storm status, as that’s the next name on the list.

Bill is now a tropical storm. A band just flew over and poured on my area. I’m getting video. It’s pretty fun to watch these kinds of storms.
