Gatling cannons are overused in movies, video games and Japanese cartoons featuring war machines because of their voluminous amount of fire and the fact they rotate making them more visually appealing. Yet these forms of popular culture also ignore the fact that 4000 rounds/minute means the ammunition bin empties out very quickly in real life.

The best cannons in practicality are those that make every bullet count, and with technology like Point Detonate Delay, they don’t just penetrate, they deliver the same explosive air-burst as a grenade with much better accuracy.

Scaring the enemy with a high volume of bullets is great, but in the end achieving victory with minimal ammunition wastage for as many consecutive battles as possible (without having to run back and restock) makes a practical and winning design. And as a hat tip to MGTOWers, we know which is the better half of the human species when it comes to practicality, functionality and efficiency over mere appearances.

Meh… 25 mike-mike is okay. But just okay. It’s been my experience that Bradly’s for some reason just don’t provide the terror that an M1A1 does. Ever see the inner working of a 120mm Sabot or flichette? Forgive my personal preference, I was a Tanker for far too long.

And for the record… don’t you dare call a Bradly a ‘Tank’. lol.

Funny, isn't it? How women thrive on a mans time, attention and resources, while simultaneously telling him he isn't enough...

Bradley IFV – Infantry Fighting Vehicle, a class of combat vehicle created to replace the dangerous method of infantrymen piling on top of a tank when moving from one place to another as was common in WW2.

M1A1 or A2 was one of my favorite tanks for a long while, until I realized it had horrible gas mileage as the price for a jet engine to keep it tactical until you were up close. Give me a tank that can cross the lower 48 United States on a single refill. Also the hot exhaust made it difficult in urban combat to use the rear of the tank for cover.

You were a tanker for too long? I was an infantryman for too long. Psychological and mental holes in my head. Didn’t go to war, but was given a hard time.

To say nothing of the images of R2D2 with a c~~~.

Chainguns are more reliable, accurate, and give a better return per round, but sometimes you just want to spray.

I like flame throwers. With all these riots I keep thinking to myself, “Get flame throwers… that’ll sober anybody up in riot mode.”

SofDMC, one thing with modern Gatling style guns is there is no misfires, if the round doesn’t go off its ejected. And while Abrams does suck the fuel, you have a wide range of fuel choices for it. Granted it might not run as well, but you wont become a pillbox if you run out of one specific fuel. My personal favorite is the Ma Deuce, over a hundred years old and still effective.
