We know there are people who visit this site who do not necessarily belong. We know feminists, government investigative agencies, lawyers, men’s rights activists, random men and women visit this site. We know there are young men and young women who come here looking for answers to their questions. We know there are people who were beaten down by courts, police, ex spouses and survivors of betrayal. We know there are curious people who have no idea what this is MGTOW thing is all about. We know there are journalists, social media experts, sociologists, psychologists and counter terrorism experts who visit this site. We know what you are looking for. There is no real story to write, no initial spark to ignite a major cultural shift. No radical reasons to our decisions. Nothing here will generate likes on your social media pages. This is not a mass hysteria phenomenon. There are no seeds of violent revolution here. If asked, each individual here loves his country.
Self sovereignty and improving one’s own life through rational choices is one of our central beliefs. We make our choices based on careful examination of our needs and the situation in which we find ourselves.
We know we are being watched. We know you are looking for evidence of hate and violence against women and other groups. You will not find either here. Many MGTOW men avoid toxicity in their personal or professional lives based on rational decisions through personal observation or from the experiences of others. Shared knowledge is dangerous to those who seek to impose an irrational way of life upon us. We are careful in how we deal with others. Avoiding conflict is a far better strategy than open conflict.
Men going their own way will not be a passing fad. Men making a logical choice based on their own best interests will never fade away. Do not confuse self interest with selfishness. The number of men who will refuse to participate in the gynocentric meat grinder will continue to grow. We know we are having an effect, we see the data reporting fewer marriages, getting married later, and the rising number of single mothers not getting remarried. We see the number of single mothers on dating sites is increasing. Men are not participating in traditional roles in ever increasing numbers, either by force or choice.
We are not a cult, we follow no one, there is no unified movement, no soul stirring rally cry. We do not protest in the street. We do not have posters, t-shirts or refrigerator magnets. We operate in our own best interests. What works for me may not work for you. We share experiences, dreams and fears.
We have observed the damage hypergamy has caused, and do not wish to participate in the further destruction of men. We are tired of being treated as a disposable utility. Battlefield deaths, workplace fatalities and injuries, homelessness, suicide and incarceration befall a disproportionate number of men. The fate of women is generally much kinder. While we continue to work productively, we work for our own betterment, not to feed a beast that consumes and gives nothing in return.
Calls for nationwide strikes, protests and violence will be met with silence. We do not advocate civil war or violence. These things are harmful and counterproductive. We believe change will come from limited participation when required, non participation when possible.
We have been called many things. These insults are inconsequential. We are men. Historically, we have endured far worse than the cultural obstacles we see before us today. Some day these barriers will fall. For that to happen, society will have to impose nearly impossible rules squeezing men into untenable positions. The unseen consequences of this may exact a terrible price. Some day society may ask us for our assistance to repair the damage. Each man will answer that call his own way. Until then we will continue to silently toil, and endure the hammer blows of our many opponents. We will endure. We are men.
