There has always been different cultures, religions, beliefs, politics, subsets of division throughout history and mankind. These would start locally and in some instances, end up scattered around the world. Generally in most cases, they attract a certain narrow viewpoint to a certain type of people, aimed towards some type of ideological gain. This has been going on since the year dot and still goes on today. It has been the cause of war and death for centuries with no end in sight.
Today the big players, politics, feminism still try to suppress our freedom to live our lives as we want as individuals. As with all ideological beliefs it is a force of will against another person.

MGTOW is different. We are unique. Nothing like us has ever existed throughout human history. A group of men from around the world, who are doing their own thing, going the route that suits them, but at the same time united in thought, theory and courage to lead a better life, free from female hypocrisy and interference.
Our goal is different in that there is no goal, no policies, no instruction, no forced narrative to conform to. We are an idea, no more. You can’t beat that, you can’t stop it. We are not formed from a single group of people, race, religion. We are the other 50%. From every conceivable walk of life, from every part of the globe. We are Man. We are taking the walk and freeing ourselves from tyranny. We don’t ask for anything, we don’t make demands. We are a force to be reckoned with, without forcing anyone to do anything. We will continue to grow as more and more men wake up to reality.

Women are so bad, if they changed the law so I kept the house, I still wouldn't marry one. I'd rather be homeless.

And you know coincidentally just now I happened to watch another quite new and interesting video by SmokeRingsPipeDreams, who at least kind of elaborates on this one further by bringing up his thesis that we (or most of us) are or are in the process of finding balance in our lives, so that could well be another common and uniting denominator despite the fact that we are all individuals.

I know several MGTOW who have not heard the term and don’t know about this site. They’re just unmarried guys living and loving their lives with no intention to change it.
