Just randomly can across in my mind, as a Watamote wallpaper passed through my desktop ( huge collection of anime wallpapers rotating )

SO!!! Here i am to share it!

If you have not seen it, you MUST!

WataMote is about a teenage girl just entering jr. highschool… and ofc… wanting to be popular.

Here is the thing that makes it amazing… it is accurate… SO ACCURATE! That the female ratings plummeted as it was too close to reality!.

The short anime series really shows exactly how women think, and is ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! 😀

Not sure how many anime fans here, but thought it was worth a share 😛

Back in my early twenties I was into anime and manga. I did not quit so much as once you watched so much that after awhile you start to see patterns emerging, and for better or worse you start to lump them together. Oh, So that anime is just this and this mixed together? That is cool I guess. I am not hating on anime or trying to sound snobby or aloof about it but one day I had just noticed I had not watched any anime for many years. I still read some manga though. I could read Hajime no Ippo, Berserk, and Hellsing forever. But Ippo lost his challeneger match to the Death God. NOOOOOOOOOOO! But I will defiantly check out this anime. Sorry for the weird rant.

Yeah, a lot of them are “similar” but some are just absolutely amazing 😛

Like with SOA, i love it because of all of the detail put in towards the MMO experience! Absolutely blew my mind 😛 Well that and the fact that average joes were just killing people… freaking crazy! Like just imagine getting trapped in a vrmmorpg, getting stuck and spending years fighting for your life as if it were the real world. just crazzzyyyy…
Steins;gate, was awesome because of details in the theories of time travel AND the absolutely AMAZING PLOT TWIST!
DEATH NOTE! Come on! what anime out there is like death note? 😛
    *can keep on going* 😛

    I mainly like unique animes…
but yeah, ones like, naruto, bleach, fairy tail, one piece, are definitely the same after a while and not really worth watching ( unless really bored )

Even then though, it’s just always nice to get to see a fantasy play out, like, High School Of The Dead! ZOMBIESSS 🙂

Just stay away from the main stream anime, and i’m sure u’ll become an anime freak again… some day 😛

I loved me some Death Note, up until you know …….. dies. After that I kind of checked out because I was to bummed out. Thinking on it Kira was a bit of a MGHOW, and he gets black mailed into a relationship. Wow, there is something there I think. This will require further thought.

I would not say no to more HSOTD. If the author would get off his high horse and draw more chapters. He is worse then Kentaro “time to play some more Idol Master” Miura.

These days I prefer manga over anime. It is cheaper too.

Thinking more on this I am recalling a manga that showed girls being irrationally vicious to each other and white knights galore. Peach Girl. Read at your own peril because they whole time you will be asking yourself “why are so mean?!”

just pointing out, she is entering high school, her brother is in jr. high. Also, it’s nice to see that I’m not the only Otaku MGHOW.

If you want some anime that break a bit from the norm a bit, Log Horizon and No Game No Life are cool. For the more manly needs Momo Kyun is there too, if you’re into that.

I’m almost 30 and I still watch sometimes anime. I’m not very into school life type of anime but I might watch this Watamote some day…

Recently I saw Kill la Kill (crazy & funny), Ghost in the Shell Arise and Baccano. In the past the ones I liked: GitS movies & SAC, Black Lagoon, Ergo Proxy, Hellsing, Cowboy Bebop, Kara no Kyoukai (girl with split personality)…
