For decades, the UK state pension was awarded to women after the age of 60 and men after the age of 65. This clear discrimination has never been seen as a significant gender issue (of course, because it discriminates against men), whilst women who were paid less than their male counterparts have in some cases received tens of thousands of pounds in compensation.
The UK government is now raising the age and making it equal between men and women.
Unbelievably, a group of women, appropriately named WASPI (Women Against State Pension Inequality) are claiming that this is unfair to them because the changes are being brought in too quickly.
Yes, you read it right. They have called themselves Women Against State Pension INequality, when in fact they are campaigning against EQuality, complaining that they are being treated equally and haven’t been given long enough to adjust.

I’ve tried reasoning with women. It hasn’t worked out so well. I’m predicting this batch will lose their battle because the pension funds in question are trying to reduce their outlays. Even feminist ideology must bow to simple financial reality.
BTW, where do the managers of this pension fund hold their annual meeting? I am betting it is someplace tropical during the UK mid-winter. Just a guess.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
It’s a state pension. It’s not subject to financial realities, unfortunately. Its ultimate managers are politicians, whose ultimate managers – as we all know – are women. Men are only expected to get involved when the begging bowl comes round.
Incredibly, there is a crowdfunding site to fund these women’s legal expenses. It has met it’s target. I won’t bother with showing the link here.
My hope is that the idiots who contributed to the crowdfunding lose their money if the case comes before a judge with some common sense and perspective, but I won’t be holding my breath.
It’s interesting that you say you’ve tried reasoning with women. Both WASPI’s Facebook page and the crowdfunding site talks about how the women “feel” discriminated against.
I suppose feelings might eventually be considered more important than realities in this society of ours, if they aren’t already. And then these women can stand on the shore and tell the rising seas that they “feel” the sea is wrong to do what it’s doing, whilst the men disappear over the horizon in the boats they’ve made.

When I first read this I thought that it said”Women Against State Prison Inequality”. I thought that whole “Women shouldn’t go to prison” crap made it to the US.
Nirvanna is never having to worry about a woman ever again.
Back when these changes came in i was a union rep and a female staff member contacted me wanting to take a grivence out against our employer because she had to work longer before she could retire. Government legistlation just didn’t register on her spinning hapmster wheel and she thought she had a case against our employer. She behaved like a stroppy little child when i put her right on the legalities.
A man on average marries a woman 3-5 years younger than him so in the olden days, both would retire around the same time if the female retirement age was lower than it was for men. This made sense when marriage was a solid investment. But f~~~ that s~~~. Women made their bed, now they can lie in it.
I can see a minorty of men sitting back and relaxing 3-5 years before their wives catch up. But that will be the lucky few. Most will have been divorce raped long before then.
EDIT: A lot of what’s been going on in the Labour party in the last couple of years with regards to gender politics, i could see bubbling up through the unions and it was a strong contributor to to why i quit being a rep. and why i now vote Conservative. I wouldn’t p~~~ on labour if they were on fire these days.
