Has anyone here gotten a vasectomy in their 20’s? It’s something I’m seriously considering. Having an unplanned child with someone i’m not in a relationship with is one of my biggest fears. It seem like such a massive decision that I keep going back and forth on. Marriage looks like it will never happen for me and having a kid scares the s~~~ out of me. Still there’s something about changing my body to ensure I will never be able to have kids freaks me out a little.
I waited to I was 54. If you’re sure you don’t want kids ever, go for it. Some docs won’t perform one on someone that young, but they are out there. I applaud you for taking responsibility now. If you do this now and still wish to pursue dating, you’ll know she is not trying to use you for your sperm at least. Dude, child support is a rough ride. My hide got skinned for 15 years of that s~~~ and his mom is a lawyer making big $$. I still bare the scars financially no savings, 401k. The Procedure is quick and easy. 20 minutes. Pain for a few days. If you do it – you must use protection until the doc gives the all clear. Good luck what ever you decide.
It is quite literally the best decision a young man can make, bar none. I don’t know a single man who regrets getting his vasectomy. On the contrary, they all wish they’d gotten it sooner.
Just make sure to document the hell out of it. get multiple medical opinions, on paper, attesting to your sterility once it’s complete. Meanwhile keep it an absolute secret from any girl you meet. Be sure to wear condoms to maintain the illusion of fertility (and also protect yourself from disease). There’s no need for a woman to know your status until she tries to trap you with an “Oops!” pregnancy.
You might want to freeze some sperm just in case.
Love is just alimony waiting to happen. Visit mgtow.com.
I got mine when i was 35. I wish i had done it 10 years earlier.
The last 3 women i was involved with (more than a 1-night stand) all “accidentally got pregnant” trying to trap me in to a relations~~~.
From what i understand it’s common for doctors to refuse a vasectomy on younger guys. The childfree subreddit has a list of docs who are more willing to help younger guys:

If you feel you might want kids in the future (god help you man), you can have some sperm frozen & stored for a few hundred bucks per year. Consider that tradeoff against what a *single* child will cost you – at least $250,000 before they’re 18 years old. And that says nothing about possibilities of the oops pregnancy and all that s~~~.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Aside from avoiding marriage, a vasectomy is the best insurance policy a man can buy.
Its funny that you say that…
I’m scheduled to have a vasectomy tomorrow morning
I’m 22.
I’ve never desired to have children and never will.
Having a vasectomy is probably the best decision that I’ll make to protect myself.
I’ll make a thread tomorrow morning to explain the process and results.
Pursuing Happiness and Freedom.
Good luck tomorrow 007! Should be quick and easy. Mine took 15 minutes.
Make sure that you don’t want children. Put some thought into it. Other than that, I’m 38 and I’m going to get the snip sometime soon.
I have a tough time saying that I wish I had done it sooner since I now have a son that I love very much- I wouldn’t trade him for the world and I mean it. I just wish I had a way to change who I had the child with.
You will be very safe by doing this now though. You will never be forced into the situation that many of the rest of us have been forced into. If I was fixed, I can’t imagine how much badass s~~~ I would be doing right now. Traveling, I would still be gigging in a band- possibly touring, going on party benders, banging chicks, f~~~ yeah!

please do!
Allow me to approach more open minded and opposing the idea, not that I am against it.
I personally do not like to alter my body. Particular in such ways, that will also alter my behavior and health in a negative way.
I haven’t got sufficient information what exactly vasectomy does or alters. So long it remains undiscovered for me, my default response is no.
I only know it’s used to prevent semen output on ejection by sealing the tubes, that are connected to it.I am thinking: If I become unable to release semen, do I get reduced sexual pleasure? Can’t be too sure.
There’s also a reason why my body ejects them and it’s natural.
So I just prefer the way nature has designed me.
I got to eject some “contaminations” from my body in a third way. And it’s my favorite. You guys go ahead and get vasectomy.
"We are free to follow our own path. There are those who will take that freedom from us, and too many of you gladly give it. But it is our ability to choose – whatever you think is true – that makes us human. There is no book or teacher to give you the answers, to show you the path. Choose your own way! Do not follow me, or anyone else."
If you were willing to wait a bit the male pill is estimated to come out in the next few years.
Funny how it’s in the women’s section of the newspaper.
Everyone has already posted most of my advice, so I’ll just recap:
– Finding a doctor to snip someone as young as you is difficult, but not impossible. Check out the link Matt provided.
– All vasectomies are not the same. There are procedures which are designed to be reversible.
– As Jan wisely suggested, bank a sperm sample or samples before your procedure. I firmly believe that surrogacy is going to become both more socially acceptable and cheaper in the near future. You may be able to arrange for surrogate children in your forties while you’re still active enough to enjoy them. I also believe that medical advances will allow doctors to “grow” various replacement tissues and organs near future. Sperm maybe one of the materials they need for that process.
– Like flying cars, a male “Pill” has been promised for decades now. However, I believe it will finally be available soon and, like the soon to be certified Vasagel, it would provide another option.Good luck and be sure to read 007’s “review” of his procedure.
Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
I am thinking: If I become unable to release semen, do I get reduced sexual pleasure? Can’t be too sure.
Post-vasectomy your body still produces semen & sperm. The semen can still be ejaculated. The sperm cannot.
The vas deferens is what’s cut during a vasectomy – that’s the tube that carries sperm in to the semen, if that makes sense.
Or to offer an analogy: after a vasectomy, you pull the trigger and your gun still fires with a bang, but the bullet that comes out won’t kill anyone/get a girl pregnant.
Its funny that you say that…

Best of luck to you man. You’re absolutely making the right decision. Give a holler once you’re finished & have a cold pack down there lol
That male pill (or whatever it is- injection?) will be a game changer. I can’t wait to see how that disrupts women and their little fantasy worlds.

That male pill (or whatever it is- injection?) will be a game changer.
From what I understand, there are two different techniques close to being approved. The first is pill taken orally which effects sperm production via hormones. It’s a male analogue of the female pill.
The second, Vasalgel, is a plug of sorts. A polymer bead is injected in the vas deferens preventing sperm from mixing with seminal fluid. (A vasectomy accomplishes the same effect by cutting the vas deferens.) Apparently, injecting the bead is even easier than “snipping” the vas deferens and the bead can also be easily removed.
I can’t wait to see how that disrupts women and their little fantasy worlds.
When you look at the seismic changes which occurred in Western societies within a decade of the Pill’s approval, a male Pill will be equally disruptive.
Just think, no more paternity fraud and no more baby rabies “accidents” imprisoning a man in order to loot his assets. Women’s primary weapon against men will disappear.
Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.
I definitely plan on getting a vasectomy as soon as I paid off most of my current debt.
Biologically speaking, at least in humans anyway, men aren’t meant to stay around after they get a bitch pregnant.
I’m sure many MGTOW dads here are happy that they actually have children, but, I’m sure if most fathers could do it over again, they’d most likely would’ve got a vasectomy.
Men are happier when they’re free to do what they want on their own without a family to tie them down.
Plus, as was said before in this thread, vasectomies are the best insurance policies now a days whether or not you already have a kid.
You should still use condoms. Vasectomy isn’t 100%. You should also add hot sauce in the condom after you finished just in case.
"If pussy was a stock it would be plummeting right now because you've flooded the market with it. You're giving it away too easy." - Dave Chapelle
I’ve considered it, but you never know how you’ll feel about having kids in 20 years or so. Maybe freeze some in case you change your mind. Better yet, save yourself some money and just don’t f~~~ these skanks. Anymore, I’m less worried about kids and more worried about the foaming stew of STDs that these bitches have these days.
Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.
In my opinion, having kids in this day and age is just as bad as marriage. You never know if your kid will falsely accuse you of rape or abuse.
I make it a habit to stay away from kids just because of this.
Possession’s 90% of ownership.
There should be an option for a man to have all his sperm in frozen take home packaging.
The medical community/insurance/pharma hold too much power as it is."It seems like there's times a body gets struck down so low, there ain't a power on earth that can ever bring him up again. Seems like something inside dies so he don't even want to get up again. But he does."
