I live in the middle of no where, I cannot drive anymore due to my disability, and end up having a lot of stuff shipped to my house. It seems to me whether I use USPS or FEDEX my s~~~ ALWAYS arrives LATE AS F~~~! I have complained and complained, I am just curious does anyone else have issues like this? Who do you use for shipping? I have filed a complaint today on USPS website, by googling USPS Complaint Form, via my local Postmaster…I am fresh out of ideas, anybody know of something I am missing? SO sick of paying for shipping and and not getting my s~~~ on time….Ideas? Throw them at me…Please…..

I use USPS whenever I ship as they come by my house 6 days a week so I don’t have to call or leave. I am at the end of the route for my zip code so my mail is always late in the day. I always use the station for the next zip code over which is physically much closer to my house.

I’m sitting here waiting on a FedEx ground shipment with some parts for a project worth several thousand dollars so I do not want that box sitting outside even though my neighborhood is low crime. They arrive very erratically from 9AM to 8PM. I will say the USPS is more consistent. At least I can count on UPS to arrive late in the day too.

They reliably ship gold via the USPS. I would never do that with FedEx or UPS.

I’ve had UPS destroy too many things. I only use them when there’s no other option. What can brown wreck for you today?

Fedex is definitely better, but expensive.

The postal service is generally the best of the three for me, especially on international shipments, but I think the service you get from them depends a LOT on your local carrier. My own mailman is great. Yours probably isn’t. I don’t know what you can do about that.

Whoever is most competitive on pricing, USPS or UPS. I ship things in a way that damage is unlikely even it they drop it.
For freight I use 5 star logistics, I use plywood to cover and I lag bolt things down using a skid as a base. Using skids helps the shipper move things around without damaging it by trying to get under it with the forks.

Could you be clearer? How late are you talking? Days? Weeks? What excuses has the Postmaster given you?
What type of priority mail do you select when ordering?

Generally all packages have tracking numbers that allow you to see where they are at any time. Using that you should easily find where your bottleneck is.

I prefer USPS, because it’s cheaper. As long as the item gets to point-B, I’m fine. I don’t see why I should pay extra for the guy on the other end to get the item 2 days earlier. So I go with USPS first class mail as it’s the cheapest way. It may not get there as fast as priority mail, but still, it’s not worth extra money to me for the guy on the other end to get it a day or two sooner. The other guy lived his whole life without the item; I don’t see what a few days is going to make a difference.

Sometimes a day, sometimes 5 – 6 DAYS!!, Never weeks…Excuses, the weather delayed it, (I checked the weather, that particular time, it was stuck in NYC for 5 days, CLEAR SKIES, no weather, I LOOKED), the rest who the F knows why, I have called my postmaster and she cannot figure it out, she is the one that asked me to file a complaint…here is a screen shot of the latest f-ing debacle…They sent it from Denver, CO to Grand Junction, CO where it sat for 2 freaking days, BTW, GRAND JUNCTION IS THE OPPOSITE WAY TO WYOMING! I will post it to my wall, I cannot copy paste it here, anyone know why?

Ok, so the problem isn’t your local office obviously. I’d say your postmaster is right. Something in the system is screwing with your mail. The only way it’ll be addressed is by you complaining. So every time it’s late send a complaint form. Squeaky wheel gets the grease and all that.

What % would you say is late? 50% ?

I had one problem with an eBay purchase, but in the end it was in my favor. I ordered a 3D puzzle from Canada, and for a month, it was stuck in New York en route to Chicago. I reported to eBay that the item hasn’t arrived and it’s stuck somewhere according to the tracking. They issued me a refund, and several days later, the package was on the move again, and it was delivered.

Another one and this one really did p~~~ me off. I ordered a Conan the Barbarian CD soundtrack, which ended up being a fake burn disc. I had to ask my dad for money to help me come up with the $25 to send it back to Argentina. I sent it back, and because the tracking number ended at Buenos Areas, but not delivered, I was no issued a refund for that fake disc. It was a total rip off! I was so mad a PayPal for months over it, because I sent back that fake CD and they didn’t give me my refund, all because the tracking indicated it didn’t fully make it. Well, the tracking indicated it wasn’t with me, but in Argentina. So what the hell. A few weeks later, that eBay seller was banned from the site, because he has a very lengthy history of burning CDs and selling them for big money. I was a victim.

Since then and after a few incidents from China and Europe, I decided to never order an eBay item that comes from another country. I never once had a good experience with a foreign item. I got screwed every time, especially from China.

Got to watch out buying things from on Ebay – especially from third world places like China. Alot of scams. Youtube is full of unboxing videos of people getting rocks, piles of old batteries, stuff that bursts into flames and so on.

I’ve never yet been scammed on Ebay, but my latest purchase from China(laser) came with a mysterious cheap looking USB stick that was not listed on the manifest and is currently on the floor in the corner until I decide what to do about it. My guess is it’s probably got malware on it. The laser works and meets expectations.

It’s also important to know what your buying. I’ve seen idiots selling stuff who either don’t know what it is, or purposely mislabel it. Almost got stuck in that with a telephoto lens, but someone else outbid me and I got out of it.

I won’t sell on Ebay. I am not getting scammed by dishonest buyers.

    FedEx sucks too.

They told me they were to deliver my package yesterday as it was on the truck. I even posted a signed form approving them to leave said package at my door. At 2018, 18 minutes past the 8PM cutoff time they claimed they tried to deliver it, and I was not at home. I was home and had my windows wide open and heard nothing. I even had the package release form posted on my front door.

I reviewed my camera and no vehicle stopped in front of my house at that time. They recently started using contract workers to deliver using rental trucks I think the driver figured it was beer thirty so the hell with it.

Now, I have to f~~~ing reschedule a job to wait for these SOBs to deliver my box. I used to be able to get them to switch delivery en-route to my nearest FedEx Center which they no longer allow. I could not even get a human to tell them to hold it at the main center.

Sometimes they arrive early, but I’m f~~~ing stuck here.

Selling on eBay is a pain in the ass. I got rid of some usable junk that way. I figured I made $1.50 an hour doing it after time and costs. I would have been better off tossing it in the garbage.

USPS usually. The prices are typically better.

FedEx likes to send action bills after the fact. Last one was a vague invoice for $50.00 in HST. Since they didn’t explain how to pay them. I didn’t and they started sending threatening letters. So I went to the trouble of figuring out how to pay them online.

But not using them again if I can avoid it.

FedEx seems to be going down. I’ve always ordered with my home/office shipping address and then redirected it to the nearest FedEx shipping center for holding to keep American Express from declining it once the package shipped.

I used to get real FedEx vans. Now, they come up in Budget Rental vans with contract workers on these deliveries.

I work a very unpredictable schedule so sitting at home with an 11 hour delivery window is not acceptable.

Anyway, I called FedEx when it was not 0430 Eastern time and got a nice Indian lady who redirected the delivery for me to my nearest FedEx center. I can pick it up on Saturday. No big deal as the star of the show part is not scheduled to arrive until next week. It’s being picked up at Best Buy.

At least I’m free to go work at that lab today that is expanding w/o worrying about this s~~~.

The USPS spanks both FedEx and UPS on package deliveries. With the USPS, they would have left a form on my door directing me to go to my Post Office to get my package.

I am not sure anymore, it is a lot though. My postmaster just called and said it will be delivered today. My local people are AWESOME, it is not their fault in anyway. USPS is one of the worst run companies in American history. I cannot believe in this time and age we have not shut the doors on this $51 billion dollar debacle and privatized mail. The USPS is a monopoly that even in it’s prime was not a well run company. I understand that the options are as bleak as the USPS or even worse in some cases. Why is it so F~~~ING hard to deliver packages on time in this country, why is it so hard to deliver packages without beating the s~~~ out of them? I got 6 bags of seeds from Amazon Prime and the packaging was a joke, a total f-ing joke, seriously! There were 6 or 7 of these little inflated bags off to the side of the box, holes in 4 of 6 bags, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? DOES ANYONE TAKE CUSTOMER SERVICE SERIOUS IN THIS COUNTRY? It seems to me not one company gives 2 s~~~s about the end user. How did it get this way, how the hell can it be fixed? CAN IT EVEN BE FIXED AT THIS POINT? I am so over the top frustrated about so many things I cannot even put them into words. My only option for ISP is this S~~~ DSL from RT Communications. According to the new law all rural internet speed should be at a MINIMUM of 10 Mbps, when I called my ISP they said, No sir, we just have to show the government “We are trying our very best to reach those speeds.” REALLY??? RT Communications padded their freaking pockets with MILLIONS of tax payer dollars to upgrade the system. MILLIONS! Yet here I am LUCKY if I am at 1 Mbps, most times it is at .3 or worse, .03 Mbps….I am so sick of being raped over and over in this country, it is high time for the collapse. I am serious. There are so many things that are ABYSMALLY out of control here in the ol USA, we would have to spend weeks just covering them. Is it just me? DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE ANY OF THIS S~~~ GOING ON?

Why is it so F~~~ING hard to deliver packages on time in this country, why is it so hard to deliver packages without beating the s~~~ out of them?

Because this country is 3,535,932 square miles and some people live in hard to reach areas. Packages are beat up due to the fact that people try to go fast or package poorly.

Look I’m not making excuses I’m saying that you can get things done fast, cheap, or good. Pick 2. Even then you have to account for human error.
