A while back I was telling everyone how my wife wanted to force 2 kids that were not mine on me and I said no way, we decided to get a divorce. Well turns out she may not end up with the kids but we are still getting a divorce, I know where I stand now you cannot unsee the truth, she is not happy about it but isn’t being too bad as I offered her the house with the stipulation that this didn’t turn into a war of the roses. I didn’t want to live in that house anyway, I gave up my equity, but well worth it.

I have been looking for a rental place to live and finally found one that would take my part pitbull dog. I will be able to move in around the first week of April! I am really looking forward to being on my own.

Once I told my wife I wanted a divorce I had my check routed to my account only, and I only pay my half of the bills while I am still in the house, surprise, surprise in a short amount of time I have managed to save enough to pay deposit and first months rent, buy any furniture I need to get and pay car and renters insurance for the whole year. All while still paying my half of the bills. Before I could hardly keep $200 in the joint account, if there was more it never stayed long. I am going to be able to have so much more money and will finally be able to get my savings account padded with a nice chunk of change.

MGTOW has helped me become a happy man. Not out of the plantation house but I can see it, only 2 or 3 more weeks!

It’s been said here many times (and here it comes again) women earn 40% of the money in the US but account for 80% of the spending. That means that men earn 60% and live off of only 20%. That means that men only spend about 1/3 of their cash on themselves. It’s not a surprise that you have extra money now that you have extracted her hand out of your wallet.

    And congratulations!

MGTOW has helped me become a happy man.

I was never richer than when I was single, and in so many ways. You will go through some ups and downs as you settle in to your new life. Expect some sadness, just don’t succumb to it. It took me a year or so to really enjoy living alone. It didn’t happen overnight. Now I guard it with venom. Getting furniture I like. Decorations I like. Making the whole place mine was like a kid getting his own room, when he had to share one with his sister. It’s euphoric. The first day I got my divorce I took the bitch off my insurance and bingo I got an instant $240 month raise. Paid off all the bill she racked up – more money for me. Ate better and less – more money for me. It’s f~~~ing amazing what woman costs.

I was checking my IRA account today at work, and a noteworthy fact was displayed. It said that men save up more for retirement than women. Imagine my shock… XD

Everyone’s always looking for a way to get rich, but the answer is just DON’T GET MARRIED. I don’t even work a high paying job and I’m rolling in more money than I could ever need. Why? I don’t waste money on useless expensive s~~~ like jewelry.

    LOL

Men are their retirement plan. BUT OOPS we dumped him or drove him away for hypergamy and now the wall…noooo.

    Then
Must marry is the last act of desperation when the fear sets in and they realize they’re doomed.

I meet sooo many woman my age that have f~~~ing nothing. No retirement, living hand to mouth on a temp job and getting older and older. I avoid them like the plague.

That’s what my brother did years ago. Divorced, worked part time, lived simply, saved for retirement. He now lives in a one bedroom condo in Vancouver, Canada. A very expensive place to live.

This is how I want to live. Work a bit, have time to get out and explore and save money for when I’m older. Not sure about a condo though, would prefer to live in my own house or unit.

    Congrats!

You are proving true a theory that I have about my own situation. Aside from losing half of the home equity and 401(k), I will probably SAVE money on monthly bills by divorcing.

My wife makes good money, but barely helps with the bills and is always broke.

Most recently, I was overseas on a business trip and she took a credit card that I keep in my sock drawer for rainy days and ran it up. Nails, clothes, groceries (that is supposed to be her contribution to the family), etc. Didn’t tell me – I just found out b/c I got the email from the card company. WTF

How much did your wife pay monthly precent wise? Where does the money go with these bitches!? It’s like they have a coke problem – nothing to show for it.

All you young guys pay attention, if I had never married I would probably be able to retire early as I would certainly have a LOT more money, as it is I will be lucky to retire at all, although my chances are much better now than they were since I won’t have a huge siphon attached to my wallet. I am estimating once I get moved in and settled I will be able to save 2k per month.

I was married 19 years, let’s say 2 months out of the year something comes up and I can’t save 2k but the other 10 I can. That is a saving of 20,000 per year, after 19 years of savings that is $380,000. If that had gone into retirement accounts it could be much larger than that. Think about what you could do with an extra $380,000, that could be a nice house, toys you want (trucks, rv’s etc..), you could invest in stocks that pay dividends and get regular payments from your money, so much that could be done.

While I was married we had nothing in savings most of the time, there was always some reason “this was a bad month”, nothing but bulls~~~.
