No offense to Kurt Cobain; his awkward contribution to Rock is solid. BUT arguably his bigger contribution is his absence because Dave Grohl has been 5x the Rock God that Cobain could have ever hoped to be. Maybe this is Blasphemy to FF/Nirvana fans, I wouldnt know because honestly Im more of a MarsVolta/TOOL/Deftones kind of guy. But if you dissect my playlists, you will see that I sneak a Foo Fighters songs in there. These guys really know how to finish a song by pulling your heart out! Three examples:

    Come Alive:

    Something from Nothing:

    Rope:

The Mars Volta’s In Absentia eerie, haunting, an ode to electronic organs or some sh!t

Grohl’s has made some interesting documentaries about their music and his desire to understand all genres… and the history behind them. Seems like an intelligent guy too.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

Man the 90’s made so many great Musicians. Most have just got better with time. Sure the same KICK feeling might be gone from the Power crunch riffs that had you Banging your head down the Interstate. But the music just got deeper. Just as your life has.

You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home
