I had a wedding ring with an emerald with diamonds, and my ex’s stone was emerald with flanked by several rows of diamonds…we sort of matched, and no one else had a set like ours. I also had a plain band for when I was doing crap jobs in the yard.

I think the two rings together cost less than $500.

Not sure what she did with hers, but I tied helium balloons to my rings and let it go into the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico from a beach in Florida in 2010.

I wear a different kind of ring today, black tungsten, on my right middle finger.

Apparently I know nothing because I thought all men wore engagement rings. I know f~~~ all about marriage and dating though, so my ignorance about ring BS isn’t surprising.

I always thought that rings, and especially marriages are BS. So you’re f~~~ing. So what? You have to have some big ass ceremony about it and spend tens of thousands of dollars and become legally bound just to keep f~~~ing? Makes no sense.

Funny you should mention it. When we were looking at engagement rings, we went to Tiffanys and a few others to look at wedding/engagement rings. She saw what I liked, and she bought it later on. She spent around 2k for a 22k gold and platinum band. She showed me what she liked, and it was significantly more expensive. I took a picture of the designed she liked and had a jeweler make the ring. She wanted me to go with her Mom because her Mom had an in at Tiffany’s and that is what her first husband did. He spent 18000.00 on a ring for my ex-wife. Granted, she was even better looking at 24 then when I got her in her mid 30’s, but geez. I said, not going to happen. If you need someone rich, that is not me. She wasn’t too happy. Oh, well. So much for “love”.

If she resold her ring now, she’d might get 1k for the piece of carbon and some gold. I think my ring is still worth more melted down. 🙂 My divorce might eventually pay off in a decade or so. LOL.

Here’s what’s going to happen to these soy boys. They’re going to get married and live in bliss for a year or two. She’s then going to get upset and not happy. We need kids!!!! However many SHE wants they will have (notice I said SHE wants and THEY will have.) After the kids are born, she’s going to get unhappy again. She’s either A), divorce the dude and take half his stuff + alimony and child support). B), cheat behind his back and cut off sex to him. C), offer an open marriage. He’ll have the option to say no, but then she’ll divorce him. If he says yes, she’ll still divorce him after she finds a nice alpha to f~~~ her right in his bed with his money in his house. He’s now living under a bridge or in a van down by the river.

These guys… Just wow. Divorce is bad. However, divorce + losing your kids + losing your house + losing half your s~~~ + child support that is going to the Mom not really the kids= Amazingly f~~~ed up.
