There are lots of things I do that I hate because it’s safer, healthier, better for me, etc. I hate using condoms because sex feels better without them, but I’m going to use them. Well news for you pal: I was actually 18 the first time it happened. and very depressed/miserable. Being labelled as a “virgin” really f~~~ed with my head, so I just got it over with. One of my friends considered even doing the same thing.

That’s another big problem with society. The pressure on men to lose their virginity at a young age. It can drive weaker willed men like I was to insanity. Just look at Elliot Rodger. F~~~, even I’ve had thoughts of violence because “if other people can enjoy life, why can’t I?”

So do I regret doing it?

No. If I didn’t do it, I’d probably have winded up dead or in jail.

It also gave me the beginning confidence to talk to women and actually start dating/relations~~~ with them. And then realize how f~~~ing pointless those violent thoughts I had at 18 were. And now I can undo two decades of social programming.

IMHO not having sex isn’t a tragedy at all. There are more useful and enjoyable things to do with your time. Get a hobby. Read a novel. Gaming. Read a technical book. Boost your career. Work on a side project. Sports. Take care of a dog.

On the other hand getting a potentially untreatable STD is a tragedy.

And even with a condom, there is a risk because:
* sometimes condoms break or fall off
* some women have abundant secretions; the more juice comes out, the higher the chances to get infected
* some diseases can be transmitted by secretions touching the skin on your b~~~~
* prostitutes have sex with much more men than the average woman, thus are more likely to carry STDs
* prostitutes who are willing to have sex without a condom probably already carry an STD. They probably know it too.
* some viruses like hep B pass through latex condoms.
* some bacteria have developed resistance to all known antibiotics.

So it’s pretty stupid to have sex with a hooker even with a condom. Without one it’s idiotic.

A FWB/fling as suggested is a better idea, but there are still risks depending on her “mileage”.
