Seems to me some sociologists did a study about this based on data from dating sites. If I remember correctly, it was on one of the science sites, perhaps the same one that linked to the association of social media users and psychological disorders such as depression and narcissism.

Both fat and skinny broads crave validation. Dating profiles give them that, they sit on their fat asses getting fatter and complimented at the same time.

Mosts narcissist women are addicted to all social media and dating sites. What’s also messed up is that a small percentage of these women are married or in a relationship, their profiles exist only for attention.

Different men have different theories. Some believe that an ugly woman is easier to pick up. I noticed early on that the better looking women were more receptive and easier to talk to then the average or ugly ones.

Some guys also think a less attractive woman makes for a better long term relationship.

At the end of the day any study based on OKCupid a site which has admitted to distorting it’s figures and information in order to experiment is not a credible one.
