The GOP apparently didn’t get enough Democrats to vote yes, to avoid the U.S government shutdown. To offset the 5 Republican senators who voted no, the GOP would of needed 15 Democratic senators to vote for the bill to hold off shutdown for a month. They happened to only get 5 to defect and vote yes.

The last time there was a shutdown, a lot of government websites went down simultaneously.

Interestingly, so did a lot of anti government ‘extremist’ websites.

Presumably if there is a shut down those expected to continue to run essential services who are directly employed by the government won’t get paid.

This “shutdown” is the last ditch effort by democrats to overturn the election by amnesty to destroy the nationalist movement through getting 3.6 million (those on DACA) more democrat votes in future elections across the USA. That is to start with. Using the “chain migration” government program if those 3.6 million illegal were given amnesty they could bring over 70 MILLION more invaders over the course of a decade or two.

Now you realize why President Trump refuses to have a “clean” amnesty of DACA.

Also, that FISA memo is in the mix in this situation. Some congressional republicans want the FISA memo release as part of the budget negotiations.

The good news it is clear this “shutdown” is due to the democrats. Also, it seems more supporters of President Trump would welcome any form of a government shutdown. So the only politicians being hurt by this are the democrats.

Another reason the democrats want a shutdown right now is to show how petty they are, if that last year has not shown that. The democrats wanted a shutdown right now to ruin the one year anniversary of President Trump being sworn in, with the anniversary being today, January 20, 2018.

The US Government needs to file bankruptcy like the City of Detroit did. I hope it shuts down all the Federal Alphabet Soup Agencies.

Shutdown? Sweet, can we make it permanent? I think things would be way better not only in the U.S. but around the world if D.C. were dissolved and the States went their separate ways. The s~~~ show is beyond comical at this point, Idiocracy on steriods. Let the States do as they please, end Big Brother Government that does nothing more than consolidate our money for foreign wars that have nothing to do with us. Every State I live in I will be for secession, and every State that attempts it I will be in support of.

If it were a true shutdown, politicians wouldn’t be paid but you know that won’t happen. How about this: Lock the doors of the House and Senate and allow no food in until they can act like big boys and girls. Either the shutdown ends or they will eventually starve. The American Citizen wins either way.
