I caught a minute of the show “Friends” (wasted minute) where Monica has sex with a boy who lied about his age. Turns out he’s in high school. I kept waiting for “but he’s one of those 18 year old seniors.” Nothing, they were fine with leaving it at “he’s underage”. They go on a spree of Power Rangers and other “had sex with a boy” jokes. Every person I know would watch that and make lame excuses. Celebrating the abuse of males for all the world to see. Blue pill hell.

Geez.  I was never really a fan of that show to begin with (something about the characters, the setting…that fragging annoying theme song…just REALLY gets on my nerves)…Now it’s just annoyed me even more.  What episode was it?  “The One Where Monica Molested a Boy and Didn’t Go to Jail for it Like a Man Would”?

I mean, I’m not one to hold any negative judgments against a person that prefers younger-looking people (most know my stance on it on this site), but when you KNOW that a man doing the same thing would not be considered “funny,” and he’d likely face jail time in the real world, it just makes it unbearably angering.

Can’t stand the show either, all the men come off as complete Mangina’s to me. All these shows work on the idea of what is socially acceptable at the time, I don’t think they would get away with that now as easily. But it does depend on what the powers that be are pushing at any given moment.

Many sitcoms envelop this idea then and now.
