Your talking about El Chapo right? Basically the Zetas are/were a REAL problem several years back as they had special forces members in their ranks trained by US federal agents for drug enforcement. They were kicking all sorts of ass and beheading and doing some serious campaign of terror (cut faces off decapitated heads, killed random bus loads of students in Mexico and etc.) S~~~ Al Queda would either be proud of or s~~~ their pants over.

Basically the US decided to use the Sinaloa cartel to the west to check their advance and growth and had Gun Runner and Fast and the Furious.

I myself when I was in University of Texas at Brownsville before 2009 heard not just gun fire but grenades/bazookas across the river. The Zetas were at war with the Gulf Cartel on Matamoros. So yeah, US was created a problem, and made it worse.

The drug war has f~~~ed up Mexico, Columbia,and the inner cities of the US. I often wonder if the “cure” is worse then the disease. It seems to have zero impact on the availability of drugs.

I don’t use drugs. Yet, I promise. I could score some Fentanyl laced Heroin by dark if I put my mind to it. I know zero heroin users and have no connections. How’s that for the effectiveness of the Drug War?

My brother used to live in extreme South Texas. People constantly would come up to him speaking Spanish thinking he was Mexican.

The “war on drugs” should have been the “war on drug users” that consisted of executing repeat offenders for drug related charges. The only reason the cartels exist and have so much money and power is because users up here are more than happy to fund them all the way from the common street junky to the government.

Instead we go out of our way to save derelicts and put them through rehab just so an overwhelming majority of them can end up right back out on the street continuing to do what they got in trouble for in the first place.

We’ll never get rid of the problem completely no matter what we do, but what we’ve been doing obviously isn’t working.

Trump’s proposed wall isn’t intended to stop the legal importation of Mexican products. Why would you think that? It’s to stop the mass influx of illegal squatters (they don’t deserve to be called immigrants) who enter the country, s~~~ out an anchor baby or two, and then go on welfare.

The last I checked the U.S. national debt is $19,242,713,612,453, which is larger than the entire U.S. Gross Domestic Product. Even worse the debt has increased by more than a hundred billion dollars in just the last three weeks, and will be well over $20 trillion by election time.

We simply don’t have the money to keep feeding more and more illegal squatters and their anchor spawn. The supreme court has already ruled that we can’t deny them welfare simply because they are criminally in the country, and mass deportation isn’t an option either, so what solution do you propose? As stupid as it is, the wall is about the only option left available by the activist courts.

The current estimates of the net present value of unfunded mandates is now in the 205 to 215 trillion dollar range. It’s so f~~~ed up they struggle to come up with that estimate. Bottom line is don’t ever count on the US Government. It passed the theoretical point of mathematical insolvency a few years ago.

I wasn’t a huge Romney fan…but I think his idea of making it not so pleasant here for illegals they would self deport was correct. If they come here and don’t get any government assistance, no education for their kids, no free healthcare, they can’t find people willing to hire them because fines against employers are so harsh its not worth it anymore, when they get caught for any minor crime its just instant deportation no further questions asked, and they in general get treated like criminals instead of victims, we wouldn’t need a wall or mass deportations, they’d just stop coming by the millions because there would be nothing here for them. Yeah we’d still have drug runners to deal with on the border but it would be a lot easier dealing with them when they aren’t mixed in among millions of people coming here just to live.

The thing is its not educated or middle/upper class South Americans coming here illegally…its the criminals and the poor. Essentially all their “undesirables” are coming here in mass either to sell drugs, join gangs, or sadly some are just looking for opportunity to better their lives but our country is f~~~ing broke and the middle class we currently do have is shrinking…we need to get our own s~~~ in order before we can take on millions of poor from other countries. If our morons in charge are going to leave the doors open to them it just means South America will that much more nicer when I’m ready to retire. If we continue down the current path our country is on I don’t really see any value in staying in this country when two of the biggest voting blocs are going to be single moms and illegals recently made legal that will all be voting for handouts. F~~~ them, I’ll be retiring early spending most or all of my time abroad where the cost of living is much lower and my money will go a lot further while taking whatever steps are necessary to ensure I pay the least amount possible in taxes to support the very people and programs that are wrecking this country.

Its kind of a joke amount though…a lot of that is estimated future social security, medicare, and pension promises the government obviously will just change the rules on since we all know people set to draw on them in the near future haven’t properly funded or managed them to support the level of benefits they’ve promised themselves.

Except the courts have already preempted most of those methods claiming it somehow violates the illegals’ “civil rights”. Apparently it’s their “civil right” to get handouts courtesy of the taxpayer and suffer no consequences for breaking the law.

I’m not so sure about that. It seems like everyone, including the GOP, hates Trump with a passion, and are trying to kneecap him. On top of that, it looks like the government will back Hillary up since she’s not anti-establishment when compared to Trump or Sanders. You have black people and millenials backing Sanders like crazy, but Clinton has that big superdelegate pack to keep her way ahead of Sanders. Maybe it’s because millenials don’t vote generally.

I also feel like someone like Kasich is still in this election to try and bring down Trump only at this point, but that makes no sense because he has a 0% chance of winning, and a 0.0000001% chance of winning another state other than Ohio. He’s giving himself another reason for people not to vote for him.

This may end up off-topic, but is there any reason not to vote for Cruz? I haven’t concentrated on him lately because to me, he’s pretty boring. I prefer to listen to what Trump has to say.

Yup…this countries been doing a fantastic job of stepping on its own dick. Its why planning for my future involves an exit strategy. My generation loves Bernie Sanders…I’m under no illusion we won’t be sliding further towards socialism during the course of my life time. I really don’t even give a s~~~ about it any more. If they want universal healthcare I’ll just retire that much earlier because that is one less retirement expense, and I’ll make sure to thank the idiots who voted for it quite often while they bitch about taxes going up up and up. Voting is a waste of time in my opinion. America is gonna go to s~~~ one way or another. If Trump does get in office, it’ll just be like placing duck tape on a sinking row boat. It might last for a while, but in the end it’ll just end up sinking.
