What are the mathematical odds that NK has one or more cobalt-salted bombs in their arsenal?

And would it be Cobalt-60 created from exposure to neutrons, or Cobalt-59 which may have less complete change into Cobalt-60 during bomb detonation?

Hope you all ditch your smart phones when the s~~~ goes down. And avoid Elon Musk’s whatever they are cars. Loaded with cobalt 59.

Also, nothing says NK wouldn’t use a two-fold strategy: cobalt-bombs on the West Coast targeting nuclear reactors and EMP-strike on the East Coast and middle of the country.

In a few decades, China would be able to occupy the West Coast, assuming they would care about the human cost of sending people in before that, which they might not care about.

NK does the dirty work of provoking the US, thinking China will back them up. China sacrifices the Nork pawn to win the long-range chess game. With Europe being overrun by Muslims and too weakened without the US to deal with a Russian invasion, the West would pretty much be game over.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. Should we try to guess by which date we will be at war with North Korea?

We can make it a contest. Whoever gets closest to the actual date, wins.

    The ultimate Dead Pool!

This one is going to be hard to predict, since war will probably not start with a decision but with a technical mistake. Like Fat Boy Kim dropping one of his e-Peen missiles onto Japan, due to a technical failure, while doing one of his… “LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!”… fly-by’s over the country.

Blue-Pill Virgin: Women hate me! That's what it is.

So, Pete is listening to songs from the Roman Empire or what?

Monkeys banging on hollow lugs while screaming at the tops of their lungs would be considered music to Pete as long as they are using standard pipe organ designation: two, four, eight, sixteen or thirty-two foot pipes.

I don’t see how a conflict can be avoided at this stage. Kim is doing what his father and grandfather did, just escalating til the international community blink. It has served them for generations.

Trump, I suspect, will not blink. And we will finally get a resolution to this damn mess.

I do NOT advocate any sort of nuclear strike – even if he uses his nukes, the US doesn’t have to respond in kind. Nukes are for self defence (unless amassed in secret – I’ll give you that one, Joe). This is killing a rabid dog. Iraq had the 4th largest conventional force in the world, for memory, and the US made mince meat of them very quickly. NK have a big army on half a peninsula – in a full-scale conventional war, without the restraint of a police action, the US could quickly defeat them, I believe. (Keep in mind it is questionable how hard the starving NKoreans would fight for him).

The problem, of course, is whether Seoul etc would get annihilated before that defeat came. All the more reason to consider – at least consider – a first strike.

Agreed, but they are likely scared s~~~less after seeing the rampage the U.S./Israel just went on…

Nothing whatsoever to do with Israel.

I don’t actually believe this IS ‘foreign policy’. I think it’s a dictator posturing to keep his own people in line and his position secure.

In an insular place like NK, everything is about the population and keeping them suppressed, lest they rise up. Religion gives people a reason to rise up, so it is suppressed. Internet suppressed. Free press suppressed. Everything is about the power of the leader and maintaining it. When the leader is even more paranoid than normal – think how many of his family Kim has killed off – then that explains basically all his actions, without the contradictory appeal to US foreign adventures (why would he be scared by US attacks on Iraq and Libya, when it is pointed out in the same breath that they were attacked precisely because they did NOT have WMDs? He does, so it has always been softly softly).

So why be worried? Because he is firing missiles over Japan, threatening Guam, and threatening to test an H bomb in the pacific. His missiles don’t tend to go where he wants them (shoutout to Lurch for making this point while I was typing). Ergo, the end-game of all this is almost certainly a missile – possibly with a warhead – landing off course on a populated area. Even an unarmed missile landing on Tokyo is a declaration of war. Why wait for it? Decapitation strike or saturation bombing of all military sites, or both. China and Russia can be diplomatically dealt with in advance – the reunification of Korea should actually see a massive DE-militarisation by the US in the region (and should be put on the table in behind-doors negotiations with China).

I haven’t read the other thread so apologies if I have just repeated someone else or said something already discredited.

But what if Truman had not stopped MacArthur from both bombing China and utilizing Taiwan ground troops.

If japan doesn’t view the latest missile intrusion as an empty hypodermic needle shot in the arm then they’re an easy target for a first strike scenario when the next needle if full of lethal poison, 5 or 6 shots and Japan is dead, every major city wiped off the map overnight.

Rocket Man pushed and pushed and pushed without any flack at all, now he’s over the line and getting pushed back from all sides. His best play to keep power is to STFU! Disassemble his nuclear ambitions or be covered in radioactive dust. It’s not like nukes haven’t been used before, and can’t be used again.

I do hope that both Pete & Gambit are satisfied with the progress this thread has made. Gambit nailed it yesterday with his two N/K threads. Tip o’ the hat to him.

Ol’ Mac was right. I regretted not adding him to the post that I mentioned General Patton in. The nuke necklace would have ended it immediately. Spot on GregBO.

Hey Tower, here’s the other ace…..Japan has nukes too. I do NOT trust them one inch, but that was/is Obama’s Asian Pivot.
Edited to add: Don’t like to say it, but we are better off with Rocket Man in charge than his Generals imo.

I do think that China may see the utter obliteration of NK, SK and Japan (and possibly the US) as a net gain.

China wants to play off NK against Japan & SK & US, and Pakistan against India. Success in these endeavors would result in no country being in a position to oppose China having hegemony in Asia.

(Russia would be presumably busy with Europe or Eurabia)

    Prepare for a false flag.

Probably something along the lines of the Gulf of Tonkin incident.

Hmmm, damn good point Monk. Was it not the new Carrier Reagan that was irradiated after steaming straight into the fallout fog/cloud/etc from Fukushima after those three reactors blew? Lots of sailors on that ship died from cancer. I can’t say how long it had to be scrubbed clean from deck to piping but memory is saying a year and a half? How convenient.

I’ll need a citation for that and not the usual “I heard…” or “Someone told me…” bulls~~~ either.

Many of the claims being made in this thread have gone through crazy and right out the other side. All of you need to step back, take a deep breath, and start thinking in the rational, logical manner men are supposed to do.

Quit repeating lies, innuendo, hysteria, and urban myths. That’s something woman and manginas do. You’re men going our own way, for f~~~’s sake, so start acting like it.

I’ll remind all of you about the threats the Norks made regarding Guam earlier this summer. A thread discussing that threat was quickly filled with the same lunacy and horses~~~ being posted in this thread. Of course, nothing happened but that hasn’t stopped the same Chicken Littles from running around in circles, waving their arms, and shouting again.

Start thinking and stick to the facts. You’re embarrassing yourselves.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Japan is already dead Tower after Fukushima. It is only a matter of time. When Tokyo hosts the Summer Olympics, the baseball games are going to be played in Fukushima prefecture.

Agreed. I think I got a little carried away yesterday.
