all Im saying is that you cant build a magical spaceship that erases the Physical laws of Spacetime. Lightspeed is intrinsic to the nature of spacetime. Stars are hundreds of lightyears apart. This is not approachable in real life, no matter what kind of Imaginary spacebending crap you thought up on the toilet LOL. Its FUN to speculate and say “well we ivnented smartphones and submarines, those were also unthinkable…” but were on a whole new plane here. You cant surpass the walls of reality. Prior technological progress was made well within the scope of physical laws. Youre talking about surpassing physical laws. Cant be done, by any being, period
In general, I agree with you. Great inventions are always more about applying what we already know about the world to meet a need. The first aircraft probably seemed impossible to many, but it was well within existing laws of physics to make it happen. At the same time though, our understanding of the laws of physics is incomplete. We used to think the acceleration of gravity was a constant 9.8 m/s. It’s not, it’s related to the mass of objects. We used to have think of time as a constant as well, now we know it’s not. It’s entirely possible that our understanding of physics is not yet complete, and some of the laws we currently follow are not 100% accurate, but a close enough approximation to be accurate for 99.999% of the occurrences we see. But that .001 occurance we don’t see can be artificially recreated by man and cause something to happen that we can harness in a useful way they we never previously thought possible.
Ok. Then do it.

I really am inclined to agree with you…….however, I’m really stuck on what I posted above. What we once thought impossible was made possible. Gravity is a physical law and we surpassed it. Look at how much energy it takes to break free of the earth’s gravitational pull so you can get to the moon and beyond. The Saturn V rocket is still the most powerful machine ever built with the first stage producing almost 8 million pounds of thrust. How the hell could we build something that powerful and still be able to control the damn thing? Not to mention that we built it in the 1960’s!
We could right now be like the people who had to ride horses around as the only means of transportation. Think hard about this. Tell that guy on the horse, who hasn’t even heard of the electric light yet, that one day we’ll build a rocket like the Saturn V. I would imagine he’d think, “Yeah right, some magical spaceship……that’s impossible.”
It was once thought that a man would disintegrate if he traveled beyond the speed of sound. Who the hell could’ve imagined what’s been accomplished? We certainly can’t imagine it to be possible to travel even half the speed of light. It is impossible. What about 200 hundred years from now? What was life like 200 hundred years ago? ……..even 100 hundred years ago….no indoor plumbing…..
I can’t close my mind to the possibilities when we’ve achieved the “impossible” so many times. Mankind is unstoppable when it comes to continually pushing the limits. Who knows what we can accomplish in the future?
The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.
can’t place any sensible number on the probably of life spontaneously creating.
.0001% for vertebrates and .0001% of those, which is really tiny, being sentient. Thats a pretty small and “safe” figure to assume. I mean come on bro… LOL
Why is that a safe number to assume? What science is that number based off of? To my knowledge, we’ve never even created life under controlled conditions, much less random conditions, so that number is really meaningless. I’d assume it’s chosen because the human mind is typically willing to accept it without any backing and then can be plugged into the equation to turn out a result that fits the narrative.
Ok. Then do it.

Good points, well said, GRANTED, and I hope youre right because it will be so kick ass.
We certainly can’t imagine it to be possible to travel even half the speed of light. It is impossible.
well said Hermit. And to Narwhals point too, though reaching those speeds is off the table, humans sometimes find a way to circumnavigate that insurmountable obstacle.
So if we cant build craft that go 5% or greater, the speed of Light. Then we will build a machine that slows down the passage of time, or reduces Mass of an object so that it can be so lite that it can accelerate and decelerate with less energy required, or we will find a Naturally occurring, safe wormhole that reduces the trip to Gargantuan… something…
that .0001% remote possibility of us finding a way around the barrier is of course on the table. Heres to that!

The odds for us being able to travel fast enough to reach distant habitable planets are way better than the odds for you not getting really fukked over by this young waitress you’re dripping over. LOL

Or Pimm particles that allow us to travel through space and time via the microverse. There’s that one too.
Ok. Then do it.
What we once thought impossible was made possible.
What you have to remember though is that our rate of gaining scientific knowledge and our technology increases exponentially. What we don’t know therefore decreases exponentially. They say that such advances over the next 20 years will exceed everything we’ve seen or have learned over the past two thousand years (or words to that effect). With what we now know today, we have a pretty good idea of what might or might not be possible…

It is easier I tell you, for a fatman to enter the eye of a needle than for Gravel Pit to gain access to a womans front hole. So sayeth the high Monks of the MigTau
I just realized we cannot edit or delete posts … what the hell.
I can still edit posts but the edit takes an inordinately long time to load. That glitch seemed to start about 36 hours ago. I’m not sure what’s going on here now…

We don’t know how much is out there to be known though. We can’t say that we’re nearing completion of all that is to know, or all that’s useful to know, when we have no idea where the tunnel ends.
I also think that much of our tech advancement really isn’t new scientific knowledge, but people figuring out how to use what we know in more useful ways, and developing the proper infrastructure to support it. The smart phone for example, uses a ton of science that we’ve known existed for around a century, but it took us this long to imagine it, build it, and develop the infrastructure to make it happen. That said, it is exactly where interstellar travel fails, since it’s not a matter of imagining, it, build, and infrastructure to make it happen. It requires science that we don’t know about yet, if it’s even possible.
Ok. Then do it.

Hire a professional for 50 bucks. Women will open that front hole for money.
All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart-R'as al Ghul.

I can’t close my mind to the possibilities when we’ve achieved the “impossible” so many times. Mankind is unstoppable when it comes to continually pushing the limits. Who knows what we can accomplish in the future?Cheap energy made everything possible. Once EROEI (Energy Returned On Energy Invested) drops to something below about 3:1, our technological civilization will collapse. We are near the technological peak. Then we will decline. This is assuming a Carrington Event from the sun, or a nuclear war or EMP strike doesn’t occur.
A perverse part of me kind of hopes its in my lifetime… then I can watch as a global game of musical chairs is played out, with 8 billion participants and about 1 billion chairs, and the stakes are if you don’t get a chair you die. Who needs Netflix when you can watch starving people hack each other apart with machetes and eat each other’s flesh? It’ll be like the Walking Dead except the zombies aren’t undead.

Sleep Paralysis
Oh, that’ sucks. Especially when you’re dreamming that they’re commin for you.
We used to have think of time as a constant as well, now we know it’s not.
Uh… I think I missed the memo on this one. I am fairly sure time is constant.
even 100 hundred years ago….no indoor plumbing…..
I believe Ancient Rome had indoor plumbing.
To my knowledge, we’ve never even created life under controlled conditions, much less random conditions,
I have heard of experiments where life was created from just isolated organic elements. Don’t know if it’s real or not.

Hermit is indeed right on point here.

The microverse??? Maybe that’s what all these 5G towers really are about.
Mankind is unstoppable when it comes to continually pushing the limits.

That’s one way to interpret it. Another way to interpret it is to say the more we learn, the more we realize we don’t know. So we learn more exponentially, the more we learn we don’t know increases exponentially. That’s a mind-fvck, ain’t it?
They say that such advances over the next 20 years will exceed everything we’ve seen or have learned over the past two thousand years (or words to that effect). With what we now know today, we have a pretty good idea of what might or might not be possible…
I wonder what the People of Walmart 2039 video will look like. All enlightened beings, possibly.

It’s not a dream. Sleep Paralysis (AKA ‘Old Hag Syndrome’) is a state where the brain ‘hangs’ between being fully awake and fully asleep. Your eyes are open and you can see all around you but you are unable to move or call out for help. In this state, you will experience hallucinations that can be visual, aural and/or tactile. I have had all three and to this day I still get the aural hallucinations from time to time but they are totally benign and not at all problematic.
The visual hallucinations can produce things like demons, shadow people, aliens or ‘The Old Hag’. I’ve ‘seen’ the Old Hag twice and I’ve experienced the tactile hallucination of being pressed down into my mattress. Everything (what you see, hear or feel) seems very real and it can be most terrifying.
I really want to encourage people to do their own research and learn about what Sleep Paralysis is all about and what happens during a SP episode. Once you understand what SP is and what it does, you’ll know why people will really think that they’ve been ‘abducted by aliens’ and we can put this issue to bed…

Did you ever notice that the only “abductees” from the U.S.A claim to be anally probed all the time?I mean what is the fixation there?
In the Sleep Paralysis documentary ‘The Entity’, there is one guy who describes his ‘anal’ experience (minute 16:10). He’s Scottish… 😀

oooookaaaaaayyy..
I stand corrected, add 1 anally probed Scotsman. There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it
I stand corrected, add 1 anally probed Scotsman.
Apparently both demons and aliens are into anal. Go figure.
Another common feature of the SP visual hallucination is a face with huge deep black eyes, a small mouth and nose or sometimes no nose or mouth at all. This was ‘The Hag’ that I saw during my own SP episodes with her.
It would also account for why ‘aliens’ are depicted the way that they are…

Blade is one of the best of us Autolite. Truly. He has more Tolerance and Humility than many dudes here. And he has been thru some real nasty sh!t. I wont elaborate but he is lucky to still be with us.
We must grant him his indulgences. Sort of like how some people watch UFC but other people prefer WWF. Who is to say that Pro Wrestling isnt real?! Looks plenty real to me!!!
Just got to roll with it.
Worst analogy ever. Everyone knows pro wrestling isnt real. its “real” in the sense real people do stuff, but its all scripted and rehearsed beforehand and the outcomes are predetermined. Its sports science fiction. You know its not real because its the only “sport” you cannot bet on. Why? Because its not a real match.
Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

I had sp as a child. Mostly occurs with boys, and usually when in the younger ages. Vampires were pretty much the ones I saw.
