Taking away Women’s privilege to vote is not going to solve the problem. It’s a short term stop gap to allow divergence of investment into areas that will. At the state level, it won’t even make a blip.

Actually, it’s just a necessary first step. It won’t solve anything, but so long as women have an unearned vote, you won’t be able to solve anything. They’ll just continue to vote selfishly and irresponsibly to undo every attempt to stave off collapse.
