——oh this is going to light up the media like a Christmas tree.

President Trump on Saturday evening issued a call for a reporter with The Washington Post to be fired because of a quickly deleted tweet that presented a misleading impression of Trump’s rally crowd in Florida.

The Post reporter, David Weigel, had earlier tweeted a photo of the crowd gathered at Pensacola Bay Center for Trump’s speech there Friday evening, showing numerous empty seats. He removed the tweet after being told by others that the photo was taken before the venue filled up and apologized in a later Twitter exchange with the president.

In the comments, they’re saying it was a “slip-up.”

So, you take a picture of a bunch of empty seats, post it as if it were at the main event, and that’s somehow a mistake? The f~~~ knew exactly what he was doing. Liberals have to lie to promote their agenda because they have no facts on their side.

Rather than arguing with Clintonistas, Trump would be better off setting up his own media network.

I would laugh like no tomorrow if Trump’s company buys CNN. Fires everybody live on the air, and replaces all of them with better people

@venom Trump could do that, but why would he buy a failing business? Unless he wants it for a tax write-off.

However, it could cause the “Trump Effect” and salvage the network.

Hope that someday I may lead others the path I have learned. As Virgil led Dante through Hell.

Trump focuses too much on trivial matters. We all need to stop giving him a pass for dumb s~~~ like this. He needs to focus on bigger things.

While I somewhat agree, Trump’s tweets on this matter are part of a larger whole.

Trump has been calling the media on their s~~~ since the primaries and keeping the reality of media bias in the public’s attention have become even more important since winning the general election. Weigel purposely misrepresenting the size of the crowd at Trump’s speech is precisely the type of biased reporting Trump wants to keep reminding the public of.

Trump is going to club the media each and every chance he gets because he cannot allow the media alone to shape the national discourse because he couldn’t survive in office if only the media shaped that discourse.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

I think there are plenty of other people who can handle this job for him. Personally, I don’t think it’s even necessary. We all have a certain amount of energy and I think it should be spent wisely. I typically do the opposite of what the MSM says, which is why I voted for him in the first place.

If I was in his shoes, I would not even Tweet. I would just focus on the job at hand and let one of my minions report on the progress. Personally, I would never want to be a politician. I would have actually stayed in business if I were him.
