I don’t want to get into a debate about abortion here but as I think Keymaster said a little while ago – women always bang on about helping refugees or voting for pathetic socialist causes in the name of saving people but at the same time think it is their right to effectively murder children

it’s clear with this that the msm see the main way to now stop Trump is to turn women against him and this is the type of stuff they will use. Added to the fact that a woman is running for the Dems and a lot of women will vote for her for just that reason they are probably onto a winner. That’s assuming he gets the nomination anyway as I was seeing yesterday that the Republican Party could screw him on that final convention day (unsure of the name as not a massive expert on US politics) if he doesn’t have an overall majority

It’s doubly wrong that western countries have a falling birth rate and there’s countless numbers of couples who can’t adopt because there’s simply not enough unwanted babies being born.
Couples go through a very severe type of anguish and suffering when they want a child and can’t have one.

There’s no correct decision either way about abortion but yes, it’s the height of hypocrisy that women can scream about human right’s abuse in far off lands while condoning the killing of defenseless children in our own homes.
I think the benefits could outweigh the costs if women could be encouraged to go full term to give the kid a life, even if it was with someone else.
It’s wrong that abortions happen because a full pregnancy is inconvenient.

Of course if you outlaw something and someone does it anyway, someone has to be punished. Ask any pot smoker who the cops are going after… growers, dealers AND users. Ask a hobbyist who the cops are going after… hookers, pimps AND johns.

Is there a reason women think that the doctor they would pay for an abortion should be punished but that they, the woman who paid the doctor for the abortion, should not? Ah, my bad… I said “reason” when I know damn well that reason has got f~~~-all to do with it.

A dear friend of mine who is incapable of conceiving wants to have a baby with her husband of 10 years. They have, after two years of trying, been unable to successfully adopt a child and have been considering going overseas and just stealing one the way celebrities do. It doesn’t look like they’re going to be able to get one and they’re just going to have to live without the children they want.

Meanwhile, I know that half the girls I’ve ever been with have had at least one abortion. I’m not blaming them for doing something that our society has decided is perfectly legal (hey, I had a bankruptcy once so who am I to point fingers) but it does seem sad that someone is destroying perfectly good inventory that other people want… like throwing away still-edible slices of pizza nobody wants to pay for when there are people who will take them for free.

As for me and my feelings about abortion, I am often tasked with explaining my enthusiasm for firearms and I have my standard answer about how I shoot for fun and sport but I do carry and I would end someone if need be. Now and then I get asked how I feel when children shoot themselves or each other with their parents’ guns and I reply “About 500 children are killed by firearms each year before the age of five. Do you want me to tell you what the number one killer of people under five years of age is or would you like to guess? Abortion. Over a million of them a year. Over a million. You want to ban something to make children safer, ban scalpels and vacuum cleaners.”

As you might imagine, this sort of talking does not win friends and influence people.

As I understand it Trump said that if abortion was made illegal then any wiminz having them would see some sort of punishment. I don’t see anything wrong in that statement, if some body breaks the law, no matter who they are or for what reason then they must face sanction.

Yet again the media has deliberately taken something completely out of context in order to mislead the public. It is lying politicians and their media whores who have brought us to a place where a clown can have a real shot at being the most powerful politician on the planet. People are sick of the lies and will take the truth where ever they can get it.

They smeared it, I heard the whole conversation he said he’s against illegal abortion and if women have abortions illegally they should be punished by the law. All that doesn’t matter to the left, they don’t care about pursuing illegal immigrants because they want to perpetuate victimhood to them for votes so why would they pursue illegal abortions? Since Trump, within a few hours, had his campaign backtrack, and he went the usually “punish the doctors who perform the abortion”, I figured going this way with Trump wasn’t really relevant. I felt it more important to end up discussing the other view, and its impact in this thread in the political area on here:

The way Trump is going now, he will flip-flop a few days on almost any issue, so it is hard to say anything regarding what he stands for. It is more like you support him for what he rails against.
