This has got to be the most annoying thing that the feminists plaster over every video or article. Even articles where all that occurs is someone mentioning the words “domestic violence” now come with a trigger warning because apparently just reading words causes panic attacks. The only time I’ve seen it used properly is on one of the veteran/PTSD sites I’m on, where it’s a video of actual combat, with a small disclaimer pointing out there are graphic scenes of war in it, so any PTSD sufferers are known ahead of time.

If ever the phrase “suck it up, buttercup” was to be used, it is with regards to “trigger warnings”.

One woman I was with would “warn” me about “triggering” her.

I would respond with “If you have a problem with being triggered, that’s on YOU, and YOU ONLY, not on anyone else!”

That’s really interesting. How would she “warn” you about triggering her? What would she say, and in what type of scenarios?

The most common was if she didn’t get her way and started bitching about it, I would say “If you’re not happy with me and/or our relationship, then leave.  Why be with someone who doesn’t make you happy?”

That would result her in “I’ve been kicked out before, I had nowhere to go, I was abandoned, You can’t do that to me, I can’t go through that again, etc, etc, etc”.

She actually said(screamed) “That’s my red button! You can’t push it! I don’t know what will happen!”

Typical guilt, shame, redirection, and zero accountability…

It has gotten to the point where law professors can’t lecture on the chapters dealing with rape cases because the word rape triggers some students. They are going to make some great lawyers. “Sorry I can’t take the case because the word rape triggers me” lol
