I can not leave this knowledge and wisdom only for myself.

It will take 30min of your life to read it, but the knowledge within could change you.

WHY MEN SELDOM SUCCEED BEFORE FORTY

I discovered, from the analysis of over 25,000 people, that men who succeed in an outstanding way, seldom do so before the age of forty, and more often they do not strike their real pace until they are well beyond the age of fifty. This fact was so astounding that it prompted me to go into the study of its cause most carefully, carrying the investigation over a period of more than twelve years.

This study disclosed the fact that the major reason why the majority of men who succeed do not begin to do so before the age of forty to fifty, is their tendency to DISSIPATE their energies through over indulgence in physical expression of the emotion of sex. The majority of men never learn that the urge of sex has other possibilities, which far transcend in importance, that of mere physical expression. The majority of those who make this discovery, do so after having wasted many years at a period when the sex energy is at its height, prior to the age of forty-five to fifty. This usually is followed by noteworthy achievement.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. - Aristotle
Warrior asked Fear, “How can I defeat you?” Fear replied, “If you don’t do what I say, I have no power.”

This is really interesting reading ..

I often think about how much could be accomplished in the world if every living soul spent a decent amount of time in severe self-discipline and abstention. I understand it’s totally unrealistic to expect this behavior .. nevertheless, I do think back to some of the teachings of Stealthy, possibly, in a similar dedicated vein .. as he spent long hours in the batcave pounding out code and recording his thoughts.

Seldom does an individual enter upon highly creative effort in any field of endeavor before the age of forty. The average man reaches the period of his greatest capacity to create between forty and sixty. These statements are based upon analysis of thousands of men and women who have been carefully observed. They should be encouraging to those who fail to arrive before the age of forty, and to those who become frightened at the approach of “old age,” around the fortyyear mark. The years between forty and fifty are, as a rule, the most fruitful. Man should approach this age, not with fear and trembling, but with hope and eager anticipation.

Most of the process that is described in these two articles, makes me remind of a very powerful experience that I had:

    – Meditation (I tried to become a Zen monk)
    – Sensorial deprived deep Meditation

One is usefull for when I am at work or something like that, the second is for when I really need to take something, or to think about a specific thing, and find a solution for it.

Not having sex is a powerful experience. What is being described by Mr. Napoleon, is undeniable. You can muster all that stored sexual energy and put to work, in your brain, to achieve things that you could not achieve by mere reasoning and instincts alone. Like Mr. Napoleon has described, the true problem lies in finding a way to transmute that sexual energy into brain power. Popps now comes into my mind, and his pause of 7 years from relationships (and probably sex, too), and now, he is funnier than ever, his content is better than ever, and he is a little over half of his “time-out” of 7 years.

And it is in there that meditation comes into my mind. Specially sensorial deprived meditation.

Now, Sky-O words comes into my mind, when he said that his best writings, that were spot-on, worthy of being in the Top Gun section of this marvel that we are writting into, was done under the influence of drugs and alcohol, when Mr. Napoleon says that many men had achieved the status of genii when under the influence of artificial stimulants.

"Young was I once, I walked alone, and bewildered seemed in the way; then I found me another and rich I thought me, for man is the joy of man." Odin, Hàvamàl, stanza 47.
